Number from Hair Stylist?

Hey,

Sorry....pretty basic question here, but I've just got out of an 8 year relationship and am not very adept at picking up on signs.

I was getting a haircut at my salon today and there was and attractive young girl taking care of me. We had the usual chatter for about an hour and afterwards she gave me the salon's card and wrote her cell down for me and asked me to text her before I came in next time.

Does she want me to give her a call to go out? I couldn't tell if she's just overly friend, and she's a bit young for me (I'm 29, she's 22). Normally I would call the girl in this situation, but don't want to make things awkward as I like going to this place. Anyone else have similar experience here?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

she could just be flirty for tips lol, call her what do you have to lose, theres a million places to get your haircut, personally though i would still go there even if i got denied, it shows you really dont care she turned you down and then maybe she'll ask you out

I fcked mine for a while. She was my actual hairdresser, so when she wanted to get serious and I didn't want to I had to find a new place. Well, didn't HAVE to, she still would've cut my hair and it would've been fine, but who needs it.

No, her giving you her card was purely business. Attractive hairstylists get asked out all the time. Think about it, its one-on-one and they have to be nice and gregarious with you. They want the repeat business. Too many guys thirsty for female affection take it the wrong way.

If she is into you, she will give you some more obvious signs.

If you want to test the theory to learn, ask her out and see what happens.
