Null Opener

I read this just now, off of Bristol Lair. I will definitely field test it, and let you guys know how it goes. I know I've promised to field test another "survey" pickup line, but that's really not my style I guess, and I probably won't do that.

Anyway, this is a pretty simple opener, because you actually say nothing. Here's a quote from Bristol Lair:

You can do this to girls at tables, and then wait until they start asking you questions. Then say "I can only stay 30 seconds" and sit down. Then stay as long as you want.

I find that this way of opening is pure money, because you convey alot of alpha "I'm not intimidated by you" characterstics by not even saying anything as your opener. Also, its very playful if done properly.

I'm thinking it would work best if I made eye contact and/or smiled at the girl before approaching. And then, I will just go there and sit there until she says something first. I'll probably not be able to hold in the laughter after a minute or so.

Or I might approach and say "I can only stay 30 seconds" ...that should be interesting.

This a TD opener btw...just to give credit where it's due.

Well time constraints are good, but don't make them too immediate like 30 seconds, unless you plan on getting the number in 30 seconds.

David DeAngelo has the 30 second technique where you walk up and say "hi, id love to meet you but I gotta go, do you have e-mail?"

Great line.

But if you wanna use actual openers, just say "i cant stay long, I got my friends here", thats much better, no specific time limit since everyone has their own definition of what long means. (This line is from the Mystery Method btw).

Besides, if you say you can only stay 30 seconds they might ask why. Or if they don't like you or wanna give you a hard time they might say "isnt it time for you to go?" before you have a chance to work your magic.

If they do that after you said you cant stay long cause you have your friends here, you can say "oh well im the leader of my friends, they'll wait a little longer" or something else, maybe something ****y and funny along those lines.

Well, I meant, I'll say I have only 30 seconds, but actually stay for as long as I want...what's your opinion on that?

If you get the number in thirty seconds, or **** any amount of time without building attraction and maybe a little rapport, chances are the number'll flake.

False time constraints are awesome. Combined with negs it bumps your set right up.
