So I meet this girl in class, we hang out a few times and start hooking up a couple times. This is toward then end of the term before summer break and about a week after we hook up sober on a monday night she gets really busy with school work and has friends in town on 2 weekends in a row so I don't really see her that much. I call her and we go eat dinner a few times together and hang out without doing anything more.

So fast foreward to the last week of school, my roomates and I have a party and I invite her, we talk on the phone that night and she says she would love to come but can't because of a 10 pager due that monday, which she actually did stay in and work on. The next day we eat lunch and she continues to work on her homework.

Finally, the last day before we both go home I invite her to come watch a movie with me, she says she already promised her girlfriends to go out with them for the last time but wanted to the next day. I call her the next day and she says she is just too busy packing and studying for finals to come over, but mentions how we only live about an hour and a half away at home and that she could come up in the summer.

I feel like I'm getting mixed signals there, not sure what to do. I haven't talked to her since then (it was last week) and I think I shouldn't text her or anything for a little while.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Sounds like you became too familiar. It went up, it went down. Have fun this summer, and hit the ground running next fall.

There's nothing much to it. It was what it was. Don't worry about it.
