Not so long distance relationship

Well after a so so start, i am goin out with this woman whos 35 ( i am 32), i know her from highschool, shes cool, but the problem is, shes lives in another country, well, hold on there, she lives 30 minutes from my home, i just happen to live in Tijuana Mexico, and she lives in San Diego California. So we get to see each other about twice a week, i am finding hard to get to know her well, if you spend about 6 hrs a week with a person, its hard to get to know them quick. I have been a player for 17 years of my life, and unlike many of you young padawas, i am looking into having a long term relationship with this woman. What i want as far as advice from any of you who are in similar situations is, how do i get to connect and bond with her if we get to see each other so little? we do communicate over NEXTEL all the time, but its not the same. Any advice on things to do in order to get her emotionally closer to me?

I am thinking about taking her on a weekend trip so we can be togheter alone for like 24 hrs.

I know, i once fell in love in 3 days and i almost married that woman after 3 years of a great relationship, this chick just got out of bad relationship and she wants us to get to know each other, she doesnt know that *******s don't show their true faces until its too late, but anyways, i am trying to find a way to break this ice, but i am ready to call this one a lost cause.

But if you can get a conversation with her (like on Yahoo! messenger or MSN) you can learn a lot about her, just ask her all sorts of personal (emotional) questions to get her hooked on you, then SHE will want to talk to you, and then you can make yourself less-available.

Ask her questions of this sort:
What is the thing you love most about yourself/others ?
What is the thing you hate most about yourself/others ?
If you were left along on an island, what three things would you want to have with you ?
If you can have three wishes now, what would they be ?
If you had three bullets, whom or what would you shoot ?
If you could change one thing in yourself what would it be ?
What is the thing you regret most in your life ?
Where do you see yourself 30yrs from now ?
What is the place you love most on earth ?
What is the thing that makes you most happy ?
What is the thing that makes you most sad ?
What is the best thing that happened to you ?
What is the worst thing that happened to you ?
If both of your husband and child were dying, and you had a chance to save only one, whom would you save ?

I am in the same situation as you... I live in Columbus, OH and my girl lived in Pataskala, OH. I talked to her everyday - we both have Nextel. She is now up at Bowling Green State University, and I still see her 3 to 4 times a week. I am done fvcking around too and I am looking for a longterm relationship as well. I found it in her, and she is great. The way we worked it out is like this: She spends every weekend with me at my appartment. It's that simple. We have been dating for 4 months now, and are very much in love. Just recently she spend a month straight with me before she left for school. So yea, just get yer girl to come spend the weekend with you, go out and do stuff... mainly treat her like your best friend and you guys will fall in love or break up... one or the other...
