I wanna know you're guys opinions on the topic of not sleeping....
Currently, this is the second night in a row which I've been totally awake due to various reasons (such as an overabundance of energy, too many things that interest me & too many things that can keep me busy throughout whole nights
)
The surprising thing about this is that I feel totally fine & not sleepy/drowsy/lethargic in any meaning of the word (the total amount of sleep I've had in the past two days might have been an hour-long nap in the middle of the day ------> I only feel asleep as a result of dozing off while reading something extremely boring :crackup:
What could possibly causing this phenomenon?
Is it a mild psychological/physiological disorder which is causes this?
(From what I've learned recently, my current affliction can be classified as something termed Hypomania -----> which I personally find to be more good than bad
Here's a Wikipedia article about it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypomania
Have there actually been any proven harmful side effects occuring as a reult of loss of sleep during adolescence?
More specifically, are all the hours of sleep lost during my teenage years gonna eventually come back to bite me in the ass later on in life?
Help me out here, my fellow Don Juans!
