I began talking to a girl after I had a little sex fun with her 2 years ago. She (we will call her "A") had just got through a 2 year engagement only to find the guy was already married. He kept telling her he was going to drop his current wife for her. They even picked a wedding venue, but nothing happened. "A" got really depressed over this. She got on anti-depressants, she lost weight, and even lost some hair. She would have her good and bad says, but since I was talking to her, her good days were more often. She talked to me for a week and a half and asked for me to come see her. I said, maybe in a couple weeks. I just felt like it was to soon, and I wanted to see how interested she was in me. She would text me all day, and call me a couple times a day. She would tell me how much she likes me. She tells me she is going to go see this guy and talk to him one more time and that she would understand if I didn't talk to her again. I told her if you get on that plane I won't come see you for a long time. I pray that night that God give me a sign on what I should do with her. Crazily enough, his wife somehow shows up to the airport and chews her out. "A" calls him and he tells her to go home. She cries and cries and tried calling me but it was very early and I didn't answer. She tells me what happens and I tell her I'm sorry that this should definitely solve their relationship. She tells me it's over for good. I decide to come see her the next day. We just watched a movie and talked. We kissed some but nothing sexual. She says she wants to stop having random sex and wait for love. She had started attending church and tells me her morals have got a lot better. I left at 2am and she texts me before I can get home telling me how great I make her feel. She texts me several days after this saying she can't wait to see me again. She tells me one day after I get off the phone that she almost told me she dropped the "L" bomb after we got off the phone. She says she won't do that to me yet. She says that I was meant to "save" her. I see her 2 weeks after seeing her for that one night and we go see a movie. That night I ask her to be my girlfriend. She makes me feel something great unlike any other girl. She had told me plenty of times she couldn't wait till I was hers. I wanted her to be mine as well. I had liked her for a long time but it wasn't right the first time around. I make the move and she says yes to be my girlfriend. She says I can go to sleep happy now. I see her the next night and go to church with her the next morning. She had a son and asks me if I would like to go with her to get him after church. He was at his dad's and I say sure thinking it would be a good thing to finally see him. We end up having a great time and I stay the night once again, the 3rd time that weekend. She had been hoped I would stay the whole weekend, and I ended up doing so. The following week was odd. She says she is having bad days from her past relationship. She was super depressed. She normally texted me all day long but it was limited. She still called me everyday after work though like normal. I tell her she seems less interested suddenly after this goes on for 3 days. She says it plagues her and brings her down. I tell her I want to see her that Saturday and she didn't respond. She says she didn't just not talk to me, she blocked everyone out. The next day she doesn't text me all day. At 9 that night I ask her what's she's been doing since she hasn't texted me. Finally she says she isn't ready for a relationship and isn't strong enough. Quite a turnaround if you ask me. She tells me she still feels the same for me, but just isn't ready. I ask her if she is going to just completely forget about me, and she says "No I just need time." This girl seemed so in love with me, but we haven't talked because it's obvious she needs time. I'm just curious as to if I should believe that she really wants to be with me, or completely get over it. I obviously want to be with her, but I don't want to waste my time. Her feelings for me weren't fake. She told me over and over how happy I made her and she even almost told me she loved me. Maybe I was played, but I honestly think that her not getting on that plane that one day was for me. I would like any input on the situation just to see what anyone might think. And thank you for reading this ridiculously long message for those that do :)

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

This girl is a classic example of a BPD. Borderline Personality Disorder.

Look up all the signs, she exhibits many of them.

Drop her. Don't contact her again. She is VERY bad news and will make your life a living hell if you insist on trying to date her.

Relationships DO NOT have to be this difficult. Trust me.

Good luck.

You see, when you lonely, quality of people around you does not matter, even if that person next to you is crap, it's ok. But when you fill that loneliness hole, you realize that the person next to you stinks. What you need to do is pick people around you carefully.

I bet dollars to doughnuts that the whole story about the ex dumping her before the wedding is bvllsh!t.

She picked the good ol' victim card, dropped a sob story on you and voila!

The damsel in distress strikes again.
