This man speaks the truth. If you find yourself in a habit of using lines/routines verbatim, then you may get called out by a girl, as the lines/routines in Style's book are now in the mainstream. And as a sidenote, I believe the routines that these guys give out are only meant to explain an idea and that every guy who utilizes their method of the game should seek to understand WHY those routines work, and then create ones congruent with his life. But fear not snintel, the game works because it is based on the LAWS of attraction and works on a subconscious level.

I don't think that this book will have much of an impact for most people unless they base their game on the exposed canned routines.

The only person whose 'game' is going to severly hampered is Mystery's. The guy is a 6'5' magician, dressed peacocked, who has a mainstream novel out that outlines his suduction method. Every club that he goes into will have at least one guy who will recognize him - and try to AMOG him Tyler Durden style.

Evolve or die. All this does is put the clever DJ that much further ahead of the curve when AFC DJ wannabes start flinging this material out in the open. You have the advantage in that you already know what they try. Plan accordingly.

Agreed. Style worked on what he experienced and learned, and came up with his own style. The PUAs who don't use their imagination and become clones of the masters are the ones who are going to have trouble. The evidence is in the book itself. I came to a point where most of the women in the area had heard the lines before.

When I first got out into the field, I avoided using gimmicks and canned openers. I preferred using whatever was within my vicinity to work with. The opener comes out fresh everytime. Developing wit will also help. It's the independent, imaginative, and witty who will succeed.

To be honest i can't see enough women reading this book for it to really affect anyones sarging much. They may get called out a few times, but i doubt it will happen that often. This is from the point of view of someone living in England, so i don't know how much it's been advertised over in the states.

In my opinion it's a great read.

What line is it?


Even if it is on the bestseller's list, not nearly enough people will still recognize stuff from it anyway. And I'm with everyone else that said it will only affect guys who read them verbatim, and the guys that do that generally sound awkward doing that stuff and probably wouldn't have much success anyways.

I suspect that a significant number of the buyers of the book are female. There isn't much of a market for books for 18-24 year old males, most of the ones who read it won't be sarging anyway, they'll be sitting at home wanking over that daft bird from Star Wars.

Got my copy today. From what I've read so far, its like one large FR.

It showed to me that despite learning game, a lot of men are going to still be really ****ed up emotional beings. Also, that if I die 5 years from now, I want to be able to point to an accomplishment that doesn't begin with "I have slept with" then a triple digit number, then "women, even though I'm uneducated and can't hold a job."


It also taught me many openers and made me reopen my Mystery Method files, but I do know now not to use a single opener that was in that book. The thought of someone else having used the same lines or opener on a girl I approach worries me. I need Style's cheat sheet.

There's a few more, but those have stuck in my mind (i.e., I've used them several times since reading it).

The most informative part of the book in terms of technique is actually the chapters.

Chapters 1 through 13(?) are all named after stages in Mystery's approach model.
