To use the mountain climbing analogy: you could make it near the top but don't have time to finish because you have something else you want to achieve, you've been to the top of mountains and you can come back if you like. Then why waste time climbing the mountain just to figure out halfway up that he do something else? Why waste time with a woman you dont plan on fvckin anyway? Why not just do the other thing from the jump?

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
