Nose rings/piercing

Does anyone here have their nose pierced? I'm thinking about getting it done.

I hear they can be a ***** to clean, and an even bigger ***** when you have a cold.

I had one from 1999-2004. Very easy to maintain and i never really get colds, due to the amount of supplements I take; so blowing my nose was never an issue. It takes about 1 month for the piercing to heal enough, so you take it out and thoroughly clean the hole. Meanwhile, just twist the stud or hoop and apply peroxide and antibacterial cream every 6 hours or so.

I have a nose ring. It's awesome!

Mine has gotten pretty infected when I get really sick (talking mucus just pouring out) but regular cleaning with unscented plain soap should be good at keeping it healthy. Other than that, I've never had problems with it.
