im curious what it is about this dude that women love. he plays a dirty redneck backwoods character on a tv show(the walking dead) with shaggy hair and dirty clothes that hasnt taken a shower in 2 years. to top that hes not even handsome...maybe distinctive looking. he receives truckloads of fan mail every week and marriage proposals from many women. girls fight over him on facebook lol.
its like he could wear a pink dress and suck on a hotdog on the show and they girls would still be all over him. i heard a rumor they are making his character gay...women still dont care lol.
what is it about the guy that make him so popular?

For some reason Hollywood can make average people good looking. I have seen more beautiful women in my own life experiences then I see on TV. Not every celebrity is ugly, but a lot are overrated. Halle Berry looks like a typical mixed women, she is aging well though. But in terms of her LOOKS, I have seen a lot better on average. Same with Scarlett and Nicole Kidman back in the days and Kim Basinger....its some kind of Hollywood aura....make-up camera angles....I don't know, but you get my point. Men on here like to say Brad Pitt is good looking, but I don't think he is good looking at all. If he wasn't famous he would not get many women IMO

It's all about being in front of a camera. Put anyone on TV and they're made to seem as if they're from another dimension. It's human phenomenology. Make YouTube vids of yourself. Create 10 accounts with girlie names preaching comments like "he's so hot", "OMG thunderbolt is sooooo cute!", and so on, and in no time you'll be a YouTube celeb.

His character on Walking Dead is interesting. I think he set himself apart in season two when the little girl Sofia disappeared. It seemed like he was the only one who really cared about finding her, he was out in the woods looking for h er every day. I bet that won him some points with a lot of chicks.

Plus he does supernatural things with his crossbow and bolts, so that makes him a good "protector".
