Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Big Pappy, if that's all you don't understand, you're doing better than 99.999% of us guys here. 
But seriously, I just don't understand the whole hot/cold shoulder that girls can give. I've actually never experienced this phenomenon firsthand until recently when I was pursuing the only HB10 that I've seen.
