Suggestions for Nominations

The Board's Administrator, moderators, and respected members of the forum should set a deadline date for the nominations. Nominees should have been suggested by at two to three different members. To remove the potential for election rigging and bias, those involved in the selection process should not be in consideration for any particular award.

What constitutes "verifiable proof," should be determined by the nomination committee, but revealed in detail to the board at large, as well the process used to select the winners. This is just a working model and if others have categories that they feel should be included please submit them.

Like I said, what I posted is a working model and is intended to give the nominating some parameters to work within. As far as "verifiable proof," would include things such as pictures and videos. Even though pictures and videos are property of the site, a mechanism should be in place where only the nominating committee could view the more explicit tapes.

Unless you're sitting next to the guy, you're never going to be able to judge whether hes smashing 7.5's regularly.

Nice idea but as soon as you require proof, it gets a little too personal just for the sake of some admiration on the internet. How can you prove you've banged a girl? Video the sex? Post text messages trying to get her to confirm she engaged in coitus? As soon as you put something up on the net, you surrender all control of it.

The awards would be good for choosing who is posting the best content because it's the only thing that can be realistically regulated.

Even that is not proof. Anyone can pull a random video or text message screen shot off the internet and claim that he's the guy in it. Some people like to pretend to be something they are not. I have no doubt this applies to some of the posters on SS. That's why you should not idolize anyone on this board, regardless of how impressive his stories and reports may be. Your idol could very well be a fraud. You will never know.

Y'all Aren't Listening

Here's an idea? Why don't the site administrator, the mods and who ever they pick to be on the nominating committee do the following two things:

1) See if this is even viable.

2) Work out the particulars. Instead of immediately thinking about how this isn't going to work, lets figure out ways that it can work.

As far as verifiable proof, using Solomon as an example, (leaving your dislike of the dude out of it,) dude has a body of work that pretty much confirms that he is saying in his field reports.
