"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

We are not all equal.

Listen up, you are last year's model. Other people are better than you. No matter what you do, other people will always be able to surpass you, you may aswell accept it, some people are just born better than you at stuff. Stuff you want to be good at, getting girls, being healthy, being smart. Someone will always be better than you, bull**** everyone is best at something. YOU WILL NEVER BE THE FAVORITE.

Keep listening to me- no one will ever bet on you winning. You were born an AFC, and you are going to have a harder time of it than anyone else if you want to stay alive. If you were a horse, you'd be lame. If you were a child, you'd be premature. If you were a student, you'd be a loser. Forget it all, YOU WILL NEVER WIN.

Well...that's what the statistics say at least...

You are the little skinny runt ass dog in the hound race.
You are the outsider.
And here is the crunch:
FATE ****ING LOVES THE OUTSIDER

All the other dogs in you're race have it better off than you. Their potential is greater than your's. They are the Mk2 of your prototype. But if you want that flag, you want to win, you can have it. The race is harder, but the world is smiling on you, and it is your ****ing place in life to achive. Achive against the odds. THIS IS NOT A CHOICE- THIS IS A DUTY. Seems tough? So what?!?! You push it, and you win.

This is why it doesn't matter for **** what you read, what you are, and what you think. The thing that matters, the only thing that matters is the crunch. This is how you win. When it comes to the **** going down, when it comes to the fights of life, you win because you want it, you get smart, and you DO IT. Those ****ers that have had it so easy because they are "naturals" aren't worth **** when they come up against a son of a ***** who has put in twice the effort, wants it twice as bad, and has twice the character. Being a natural isn't worth ****, be glad you started off worse, revel in the challenge.

The underdog wins because he doesn't get proud, but he believes in himself. Being a DJ does not mean being an arrogant ****. You have the gift of being grounded. Keep your feet on the ground and your head up. You can surpass most because they are either disgusted by themselves or too far up their own asses to see you coming. The rest you can surpass because that's what you want.

You are a stupid ****, you know about 10%, no...1% of what there is to know about girls. You aren't that physically strong, you are a cripple of a person. But you wield the weapons of a champion, cunning and determination. What you do with them is your choice, but as long as you do, you will have my respect.

Win the race no one thinks you are even entered in.
Luck? Luck has nothing to do with it.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Good post...I like it. Most of the time the odds are against you. Thats when you gotta have the mindset..."WHAT DO I WANT," unstead of..."ILL SHOW THEM!"

What pushes me to strive is refusing anyone is better then me unless they have put more effort in that then I.

As you said, naturals can go **** themselves.

AGREED

Yes, naturals are good at what they do, but they do lack one thing that we DJ's have. The drive to succeed. I admit I don't know as much about girls as a whole lot of other people, but I do have the confidence in myself to SUCCEED. We should all have this mindset. Great post man :)

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
