Hello, fellow Don Juans!
I am not new to this site but I have never really used any of the potential it holds and that's a shame! For more background about me (and some possibly useful information) go read this post I have made.
I am Liar. I've always been a liar. But now the time has come to end this episode of my life and start a very new one. This is the new beginning. No more false confidence, no more trying to appeal to others, no more trying to get a woman 'just to have a woman', no more deluding myself, no more wasting time on this wonderful world. I am through this. No more lies!
As you are reading this, visiting this site, my best guess would be you are trying to improve something about yourself. Maybe trying to improve your whole self altogether. So am I. Let this be my journal of the proccess. I am willing to change, completely! These are not just words. I've already begun. Just by writing this and the previous post. And I will not give up as I have nothing to lose. I've already lost everything.
You can come and join me on my way to becoming a better person. For some of us, it's not as easy as for the others. Many lack the motivation or simply don't know where to start. I know, I belong to that group. And that's why I've come up with that.
Here, I will post all the crucial steps I want to do, the things I want to improve. I've realised that this is the best way to take when one lacks motivation. But I'll also keep an offline journal of all the minor things which are not as vital but are the bricks for the higher steps and therefore also important. I've found out that I am a person who always needs some schedule, an order, above all his actions, to actually realize them. I advise all of you with the same nature to try this.
Each Sunday, I'll write an offline schedule for the upcoming week, assigning each goal a proper date. Hopefully this will do just the way I assume. One could go even as far as somehow rewarding himself as long as he succeeds with the goal or on the other hand setting up some penalties in the case of failing. I'm not talking any big stuff, just some minor but bold enough actions that will actually give the brain and psyche a clear signal. Like for a smoker, fewer or no cigarettes the next day, for someone who likes beer, no drinking, for a chocolate lover, no candies and so on. If you like the idea try it but don't overdo it. If it works just fine, stick to it. And also, I'll be writing the offline journal in hand. I think it's better as it goes straight from brain to hand and backwards. I have found this technique in school, preparing for exams and stuff. It really does work better than writing on the computer, at least for me. Try it and you'll see what it does for you.
On to the journal now!
