I dont believe this whole "not fapping has caused women to look at me more, women are fixing their hair around me bs". Like really, be serious. Heck, last night I did it and today, I havent found myself falling asleep at work even with a cup of coffee like the day before.

Yeah.

If people want to believe that the No Fap Challenge is going to solve their life problems, they're gonna find reasons to make it true.

But let me guarantee you, the problems here go waaaay deeper than spanking off once per night.

Welp, just fapped again (P&M) 6:13PM/ (O) 6:19PM.

I fapped yesterday went to work today. And was perfectly fine. I do suffer from social anxiety and I feel like I'm using this challenge to make myself believe this will be the cure and in reality I'm the one that's causing this anxiety. Not masturbation.

This research is confusing.

Well, if you maybe look at it a different way, you'll see that this challenge may not work for everyone like yourself, but can provide several positive changes in doing so. It seems like a lot of it is psychological. For example, people may find that they are insecure around women... why would that be? One usual reason could be that they feel that they cannot perform as a male should. Constantly viewing pron on the internet and fapping to it can cause a lot of desensitizing over time. After a while, if a guy can't get it up on their own, they automatically think "how am I going to impress anyone like this?" thus causing insecurity. Of course, if you just stop playing with it so often, it'll "perk back up" so to speak and you will regain your confidence and it's at this point that people see the positive effect because they don't have their head down constantly thinking "I'll never impress her." The whole "girls notice me more" is really the men noticing the women more. Kind of like if I said "I have never seen a tan colored Buick before", you are instantly going to notice a ton of tan Buicks.

The second part of this is the actual pron watching itself. When you are just able to get instant gratification from whatever you are looking for, it becomes less desirable and sometimes becomes an addiction. This is where the no pron comes from. Cutting yourself off from it will make it more desirable over time and if you banish it completely, it's still very desirable and that addiction may still there. So why not move that addiction to something a little more beneficial... say getting a girlfriend for instance. Since one thing is gone, another opportunity emerges. That's one of the reasons why we remove the pron. The other is simply to remove the want for fapping since that seems to trigger a lot of it.

While both of these examples may not apply to all, there is a lot of truth in how it plays with your mind. So when people say "girls have noticed me more etc. etc." it is actually the men noticing the women more and that's what makes this whole thing work.

In that regard, today marks day 3 of this challenge. Here's my data:

DAY 2
Weight - 277.2 (I'm just going to keep track of it since I believe weight loss will be a guaranteed upside. Day 1 weight was 278.4)
Urges - Had two big urges today. One late morning and one early evening.
Remedy to urges - For the first one, I immediately got up and just starting riding my bike... for almost two hours. No problems after until the second one. For this, I just laid on my bed hugging a pillow and being to just clear my head and think of something off topic... like school. I ended up falling asleep for 20 minutes and have not had an urge since.
Today's positive side effects - None
Today's negative side effects - None

DAY 3
Weight - 275.7
Urges - Had one big urge today during the afternoon.
Remedy to urges - I was in school so there was really nothing I could do about it except let it pass (teacher's fault).
Today's positive side effects - None
Today's negative side effects - Mild headache... not sure if connected.

I dont think the problem is in fapping itself but mostly in the use of porn which modidy our perception and override our brain circuits.

Fapping if not overdone simply temporary deprive the body of precious nutrients like zinc, no big deal you can just eat fish and meat or some supplement and you'll be fine.

The problem is porn which as said rewire our brain to be sensitive to certain strong stimuli which cannot be find in real life, some people even report to have some abnormal desires which dont match their sexual orientation.

If I were to give an opinion I would say that fapping is fine as long as its not more than once a week while porn should be limited as much as possible.
Of course having sex regularly should be plan A but if that doesnt happen some routine maintenance once every 2 weeks would be a good thing.

If you're not having sex for a month, some fapping could help avoid to put the body in asexual mode with decreased sex drive and *** amount to shot.

Hey everyone,

A couple of close calls today but I got through day 4. Here's my data:

DAY 4
Weight - 272.3
Urges - Had two today. One small one early morning and one big one late morning.
Remedy to urges - For the first one, I just shut off my computer and took a shower. There was nothing unless the second one where I almost cracked and just started looking up random hentai. I literally had the page loaded when I just shut off the computer and went for a bike ride. This time, almost 2.5 hours. Nothing happened after.
Today's positive side effects - None
Today's negative side effects - Mild headache.
This is indirectly related to the challenge. Sudden increase in exercise caused weight loss and dehydration. Dehydration caused headaches. After a gallon of water, headaches were gone.

I feel like since I stopped fapping my sexual desires seemed to drop off completely , So i caved to see if it would change anything , and it dident , one odd observation tho , hardly anything came out , i was expecting a huge load , but i guess after so long my body just started absorbing it

Today is day 11 . I've been jogging every day for 40 minutes and doing a lot of exercise in general. I feel much better then I did before I started doing this. I have more energy, which is always a good thing. I am more confident, I guess. And I feel more like myself! Yeah! I like that!! Go go go! Woohoooo! :)

I've been sleeping 8 hours every day but today I slept about 10 hours... What gives? I think the exercise is the culprit. Opinions on that, please!

Okay, I need advice on this one. I had an incredibly bad urge this morning to the point where I was just having sex with a pillow (boxers on) while looking at an anime girl in a bikini. I swear I had an orgasm (I didn't touch it... the pressure from the pillow was enough) but nothing came out and now I don't even have close to any urges (which have been constant the last 4 days). Do I start back at day 1 or should I continue on day 6?

That's not as heavy as masturbation + ejaculation, but still a little. I'd say go back to day 1. And go exercise instead of doing it with you pillow! ;) You'll feel better in a while! Just one thing, do you have a hard on in the morning? Because from what you described, your body is ruined from doing it 8 times a week and you can't even get hard at all during sex! :eek: I want to try to help, so pls answer. Not having a boner in the morning could indicate that something's not right.
