Several days ago I asked my somewhat oneitis to come out tonight - apparently she was going to movies with her friend and she asked me if I had any other day free. I didn't. (She is either inflexible or not that interested in me?)
So what was I going to do with a free night? Well last night this friend of mine started a FB convo with me and she seemed quite interested in me, looking up stuff on my FB profile to talk about... So I asked her out for tonight (I also said just as a friend since I was sort of seeing someone else).
I was missing my somewhat oneitis and couldn't turn on C&F mode. At least she was funny, which kept our night from being too awkward. We started talking about relationships - apparently she had 3 relationships in past year; I asked her what she did with them after she'd put them through the washing machine and then the dryer; she complained her boyfriends always get "whipped"; from her description sounds like they all got oneitis on her and she lost interest.
It was definitely interesting to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.
Apparently she had a boyfriend. She called him as we were leaving and the way she spoke to him I felt bad for him... "I'm going to be at XXX at XX:XXpm. Pick me up. My phone is about to run out of battery. Bye". I guess I can see why, he bought her a bouquet of roses two months into the relationship.
Whole night she was being C&F, making fun of my eating habits, how I talk to the waiter, how I talk.. I countered some of them; others I tried to change the topic, and she was laughing at me for doing that. (Sort of like Ygritte in Game of Thrones.)
She asked me about my somewhat oneitis who I was sort of seeing and she made fun of her even harder than she did me, even though I was really vague about her. Don't know what that means, jealous?
Anyway, though I don't feel attracted to her and I don't think I raised her IL one bit, it was a more fun night than sitting at home.
