"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I've been in an LTR with this chick for about 4 months. Its been great fun and she is really attached to me. We head off to the same University in about a month. She tells me jokingly that i'm going to be looking like **** purposely so other girls don't like me (sample of her attachment).

Anyways today at a coffee shop she comments she loves the music playing. She gets up and talks to the cashier who plays the music about their similar taste in music for about 15 mins while I sit on the couch, alone.

Then tonight she says she noticed how we aren't similar in books and music. She said like today in the coffee shop she couldn't communicate or talk to me about stuff she likes. She basically thinks we are different and she has a hard time effectifvely communicating with me. I kinda console her with some BS about how differences are benefits in a relationship. Then afterwards she is all happy again.

I think I need to break it off tomorrow with the excuse that we aren't common .

Suggestions?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Sounds to me like there's no reason to next her. Everybody is going to have differences and things they don't hold in common - if you get rid of every girl you meet who doesn't share all of your own interests you'll die an old lonely man.

I'd recommend that you visit the following link and pay special attention to the section entitled "conversation". Give some of the advice a shot and see if things improve.

I'm sensing a low interest level from her..

Can you tell us more about your relationship? Maybe she's trying to get rid of you and is looking for excuses, or maybe I'm completely wrong - but elaborate.

from my point of view it sounds like a test of sorts , I'm not sure why...hmmmm...no don't next her though, 4 months is a good time so you obviously dig each other.

I personally would not worry about this little accident too much... but maybe in the future you should try to pay more attention to her interests... try to understand why she likes a certain movie or book and talk with her about it... even when you are not into it that much!

And - very important in my opinion - try to read her actions! Is she still calling you as often as before, meeting you, kissing you, etc., or has something changed in your relationship within the last days? A lack of interest in you would be the only reason why you should dump her, but not just because you can't talk about books with her very well... hope this helps.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

She commented on how her previous boyfriends and her had similar interests in music and books, and that we don't have this.

She says she can't even keep up a conversation with me, but in my opinion our conversations are interesting and deep and fun. She thinks our relationship is purely physical. Anyways I think i'm going to dump her.
