"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I weighed 120 pounds for pretty much all of my teen years, and about a year & a half ago I jumped up to 140 (I'm 21 now). Thing is, I hadn't been working out during that time. And just looking in the mirror at my face I can tell I've put on fat (I kinda have a belly too which is just weird as hell to me because I've had such a flat stomach for so long).

So I'm sick of it. I used to have an OK workout schedule but never had the right diet to go with it. I want to get rid of this body fat and start building.

What are the key things I should be eating? Weight supplements?

What type of workout would you recommend? On what days?

The reason I ask is, well, I honestly don't know what I'm doing. And I'm too broke to hire a personal trainer =(

But I am ready to learn and actually do the work and end this skinny nancy boy body that I've been living with all my life once and for all.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

It's probably best for me to tell you this quick smart; read the stickies. They're there for a reason. Then you can probably ask more specialized questions with things you really don't get. Oh, also there is a lot of information out there and lots of it will sound conflicting, so don't get too anal about the info and just go out there and lift it.

My bad guys, laziness took control (which is ironic because I think the lazy thing to do would of been to just check the stickies). Anyway, thanks for the pointing in the right direction.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
