"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Hey everyone,

As you may tell, I am new here. I am a Junior in high school and I look foward to browsing these boards and seeing if I can help anyone out.

I do come to you with a problem that may take you a minute or two to think about. This girl I've had my eye on for a while started sending these really strong signs to me. When I went to ask her out, she seemed to have said yes, suggesting we "double date" with her two friends, who are bf-gf (I know the guy too). Sounds good, right?

Well, the next day, I come in expecting to talk to her about this "date". Well, that didn't exactly happen. Instead, she starts babbling about who knows what, she's contradicting herself (for ex: I'm free this weekend (+ good body lanuage) - I'm unsure about all of this (this means "not a yes")). So, I have no clue where to go.

Anyway, here comes the real problem : Now she doesn't talk to me anymore. Usually, she'd come up to me and start talking and smiling and all that - now, nothing. Before, she come up, say hi and start a conversation. Now, all I get is a "hey". My guess is that it still feels weird of me "asking her out", but I'm a little confused here. Well, I plan on asking her about the "double date" with her two friends, because if they're involved in the "double date", the yes may be close to certain. The tough part is that she isn't talking to me anymore or anything, and it's not like I did anything wrong...I think.

As of right now, I am trying to get the "guy friend" (from the other couple) to help me out with this. Considering he sees her more during the day, he'll probably pop the idea into her head and hopefully by the time I see her, everything is good to go.

My question is, how can I get things back on track with this girl? Up until last week, she was talking to me and being real enthusiastic and now, absolutely nothing. Why? I'm really confused.

P.S. No, I don't think she's "playing" me. I've known her for a while (almost a year) and we've gotten along pretty well. I also didn't put myself in the "friends" trap though in case something like this came up. :woo: So I doubt she'd be playing me (I've been played once ot twiced before and this doesn't look like it) considering she's known me for a while, but if however she is, :trouble:

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Thanks for the replies nightryder...anyone else? And no, I didn't have time ti read the DJ Bible yet, but I'll get to it.

As nightryder may suggest, my post resembles one of a newb, and I really am a newb. Any help on this issue is appreciated since I really need the help and I will get to reading the DJ bible.

dude, the next time u see her show that ur interested and get right into touching her. After she knows ur interested, just ignore her even in the hallway, dont look at her. This will make her come running to you. (by the way, in the hallway, when u dont lok at her, DO NOT LOOK AT THE GROUND THIS SHOWS THAT UR A CHUMP, LOOK STRAIGTH OR AT THE SIDE)

shes mad at you

y?

heck if i know, perhaps you took too long to ask her out ?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Girls are very strange creatures. First of all, don't assume anything's wrong. It could be a list of possibilities. I'd just casually go up to her and say, "Hey, I wanna go to __ on Sat". "I'm picking you up around 7" "Sound good?" And see how she responds. Hell, she could be on her period for all we know. If you asked her out, and she said yes, then she has some interest (even if it's only mild) in you. Build up the confidence and get ready for the big date man. Don't think of yourself as a chump. Just because you run into one problem with a girl and you confide in others doesn't make you a chump at all. The biggest part of being a DJ is getting into the right mindset. Get your head straight and you'll see women in a completely different perspective. Dude, you already got the date. The hardest part is over. Now it's time for the fun :D Good luck
