Ok I got this 27in bubble screen (not flat screen) Phillips. Not too shabby condition, I only got it like maybe a summer or two ago. I'm considering getting a flat screen 32in. What do you guys think, should I get this or just save up for a 57in, yay or nay?

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Whenever I've visited a really successful persons house, I've always been suprised by how small their TV is.

Completely agree

Television is a means of passive entertainment. Most successful people I know have a nice TV, but not a huge one. They don't have cable or satellite, but rather rent Netflix and watch movies/TV series on those occasions when they're looking for passive entertainment. Everything seems to come out on DVD within a year or two of it hitting the theater or the airwaves.

Regardless, to answer your question, there is a new breed of TVs coming out that might be a good idea to investigate.

Watching TV is very unproductive IMO. I can always find more constructive things to do rather than sit in from of the TV. I usually only watch it when I'm eating, or having snuggle time with the woman. I don't have cable, I usually just throw on a video. I get my news by radio, and my weather by internet. I kill conversation when someone asks, "Have you seen that commercial where...."

However, if you love your TV, go buy a big one.
