Men will overplay the sexual partners they had. On this survery it seems the men downplayed it also. The median is 7 and anly 29% of men have had 15 or more sexual partners.

If the results are true on the men part than there are alot more AFC's than I thought. LOL.

How is it possible that males have more sexual partners than females? I mean...if man has to have sex, he needs a female right? So shouldn't the numbers be equal? Unless we include gays?

Or mebbe because the numbers are medians, meaning that MOST women only have a few sexual partners, but a small percentage of women have sex with a bazillion men. Am I reading this right?

I can't prove it by statistics, but by my personal observations, I've found that the majority of women are attracted to a minority of men.

In other words, if you get 10 chicks and 10 guys in a room...I believe that MOST of the women will be attracted to a fewer number of the guys in attendance. It does matter how many guys she did before me. Women are programmed through evolution to seek the best mate they can get because they only have one egg and one chance in 9 months to get this right for the survival of our species. Now given all this, a human being is one fvcked up animal. Not only we are the only species that does not have specific time in a season for sexual intercourse but we also control (or cheat for a better word) our sexual reproduction by stopping the sperm from meeting the egg in order to just get sexual grafitication. Even though women are now able to control their reproduction, the biological need to mate with the best man they can get is still wired into their genes. Which explains why women have higher standards then men would to qualify for mating. The more a selective a woman is the more she understands her real value and what she can get, hance if she can get the best, she will stick to the best. The least selective a woman is, then she undersands that she doesn't have a high value and can't get the best therefore mating with the most males to get the better genes makes sense to her. The less a value she has = more mating with males, and less quality males.

What it all means: THE NUMBER OF MEN A WOMAN SLEPT WITH DOES MATTER, AFTER SHE REACHES PUBRITY AND PHYSICALLY READY TO MATE. Therefore its a lower quality woman who sleeps with the entire football team as opposed to a higher one who chooses to just stick to the captain of the football team and not fvck anyone else. I am not going to question women about their past. I can only hope that she hasn't been run over by a train. Uhm,..confirming that by my own sexual history, I'm well over twice the national average for sex partners,..heh.

OK, joking aside, I thought the means of survey was much better than others I've seen in the past. Granted, any survey that polls sexual behavior is going to necessarily be biased by internalized psycho-social conditioning, even in complete anonymity - which I think is a testament to how fearful we are of our own self-validations with regard to sex (at least in westernized culture). But for what it is, I think the methods were far better controlled than the horsesh!t eHarmony-Oprah-Dr. Phil crap surveys, so I thought they were more valid. My only problem with it was that they also associated illicit drug use with sexual behavior in the polling. There's actually a whole slew of stats for this study that the CNN article doesn't touch if you read the case study report here.

This might seem like a "well, duh" observation, but people like sex. Regardless of background, regardless of conviction, regardless of social stigma. So while in looking for your Virgin Bride, with a perfect body, a great personality, coming from an excellent upbringing, who'd make an ideal wife and mother, and who coincidentally fukks like a Swedish pornstar; bear in mind that statistically she's probably had 5-6 lovers before you and 2 or 3 of them were probably by the age of 20.
