"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

i 've been testing and trying different ways to lose weight , the last few months, specifically the last 10 weeks.

what i've discovered, is due to the fact, once we get into Very low calories count we become tired and could be counter productive to weightloss..

what i discovered, is NOT TO CONCENTRATE on CALORIE COUNTING per se,

but that should be the happening as a result automatically, if we continously concentrate on tweakign our own dieting methods e.g. good eating like ...

basically the goal at all times is to maintain our energy levels as high and stable ..by keeping our blood sugar levels high, we automatically feel full.. There is an implicit connection taht most diet books don't tel you between your energy levels and how hungry you feel. ..we need to keep our energy levels stable, by eating smaller meals but eating more often e.g. 6-7 meals a day. Not only that, but we should eat those meals with foods that prevent energy blood sugar levels to lower ( they lower if you eat HIGH GI foods that cause insulin into the blood stream which has a blood sugar level lowering effect) . and refrain from refinded sugars and white rice etc which is the death to my plan as that is fastest way to drop your energy levels, make yourself hungry and eat like a pig. FInd a good website that lists GI for the foods you eat and at the same time good a journal and try and see yourself if what i m saying works or not. also when i workout, i feel less hungry i dont know what, may be its the t levels going thru the body

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

That's good stuff. but I wouldn't say it's anything new. Still, it's good you've tested it yourself and that it's working for you. Keep it up

I don't see anyone recommending "very low calorie count" diets.

And the rest of what you said is just typical low carb or low gi eating. You simply do not have to go hungry or eat really low calories to lose fat. I don't understand why people can't get out of that mindset.

Not only can they not get out of that extremely low mindset, whats worse is there metabolism slows dramatically down, and causing them not to lose weight as fast if at all. Not to mention the muscle loss from starving themself.

It gets even worse than that :) After an extended period of low calories, your body will start to pack on fat, and eat muscle instead!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Truly, anyone, and I mean anyone can get much healthier and at least in shape if they start running, cut out the super processed crap and then eat when they are hungry, not when they are bored. If people just ate when they felt like it and stopped eating once they were full, there'd be very few fat people.

I have a slow metabolism myself, so it bugs me when people use this as an excuse. The really funny excuse though is when people claim they are "addicted" to food. It's like, no ****, I'm addicted to air too, that doesn't mean I'm gonna go and hyperventilate every five minutes.
