"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I have a HB10 in my history class. Haven't really had a chance to talk to her until the other day (you know how college can be)...

Anyhoo, the class was waiting outside the lecture room on the day after a test. I ask how she thinks she did (her face kinda drops and says "not too good). Then the teacher walked up, signaling class was fixing to start...

After class, I walk out after getting my test back, kinda look behind me and see the same girl a coupla steps away, so I slow down, naturally.

Me: How'd ya do?
Her: *weird, ashamed smile cause we joked a little before class* Ha, I'm not telling you.
Me: Aww, was it that bad?
Her: *same smile* I'm not telling you.

(We go back and forth a few seconds, me finally changing the subject)

Me: So, I'm playing at a concert at my church [such-and-such day], wanna come?
Her: *girly excited as only a blonde can act* What time is it?
Me: 6:30
Her: *face drops* Oh, I have to work. What do you play?
Me: I'm a drummer
Her: Oh, cool. My cousin has a band. I always like to watch him. Maybe I can catch your next one.
Me: Well, maybe if I let ya. *wink* What's your number
Her: *gives number without any hesitation, no "uh's"*
Me: Thanks. Hey, I gotta get to my next class. I'll see ya later.
Her: Okay, bye

Time elapsed: two minutes

I've since left a phone message (another music thing I did) with no answer, so I'll see her again next class.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
