"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Thanks for the info, Boilermaker.

This is something I've always wondered about these matchmaking websites. How do they determine how physically attractive someone is? Is there some method through which users rate each other? And do they take physical attractiveness into account when making matches? I'm kind of surprised if they do, since attractiveness is at least a somewhat subjective thing.
I was wondering how they did that as well. Because obviously when you fill out a profile, you don't fill out anything relating to attractiveness (aside from maybe body-type). My thinking is that maybe they base it on other guys who contacted that girl, and the other people they contacted.

In other words. Lets say you message Girl A, but have also replied to messages or "winked" at girls B and C. The site then knows that you have some interest in A, B, and C. Then, when I message Girl B, it takes you and other guys into account that messaged girl B, and they send me matches of girls A and C.

Code-wise, it's fairly simple, and I would assume provides a pretty accurate outcome. Especially considering no one expects matches to be anywhere near perfect from these sites.

Just my guess, though.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

it's a programmed algorithm that applies a rating in conjunction with the amount of times a profile was looked at. we did the same thing for another site

So I used that Emil tonight. So far out of the 5 girls that have read the email I've gotten 2 responses.

Can you post their profiles so we can see what quality of looks we are talking about here?

Eh they're 6's.

3 responses now.

I was just seeing what kind of response iwoudlget. They all are a little shocked that you would say they would be bad in bed, but they're receptive to the "how's this site working out for you" question that starts some dialogue.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

If I'm going out of my way to message a girl, she better be worth it. I usually gloss the profile and use humor somehow to drop the defenses. Then pull back to gushed the interest.

I got a horseback riding date with a 7.5 coming up. Said she was in nuclear medicine. So I message, "hey my degree is in nuclear medicine too!!!! Well, not really, but I did drive by a Walgreens yesterday.". She got.it, asked me out.

Also. I've tried filtering my search options down to my ideal criteria. Non smoker, no kids, cqertain age group, certain distance....even my profile was a tad qualifying. No surprise I wasnt getting many views or messages due to a smaller pool of women that met the criteria. Then I opened the criteria up, and made my profile message short and vague...took off a body pic and its night and day. Views, messages and because of the sheer quantity I'm including it opens up, statistically, the chances of more hot women. It also places you in their searches. Granted these hot women are more likely to have kids and smoke etc but I'm not expecting to find my soulmate on.pof either.

I've gotten some pretty decent success with this new email tonight.

"Nice Tits!!

Haha....I'm just playing, I just thought it was a conversation starter. Actually being interested in someones profile never seems to work.

How are you doing tonight?"

As "the most interesting man in the world" would say - I don't always use e-mail based online dating sites, but when I do, there's never enough talent to warrant spamming canned messages.

On the rare occasion that an attractive and well-balanced woman turns up in the search results, I'll send her a personalised message - my reply rate is probably around 90%. That said, we're not talking about huge numbers here, less than one new quality profile per month for OKC.

Man, for a city of 1.2 million people, I can't believe the pickings have become so slim here.

UPDATE:

A better opener I've discovered which piques their curiosity to respond is saying something like: "nice profile but there's just one very important thing I couldn't determine from it..."

9 out of 10 times they'll write back wanting to know what it is. This is when you playfully tease and set value. Something along the lines of "if we exchange numbers you're not going to get all stalker on me like the last few and start showering me with unexpected gifts (although some might be warranted) right? ;)"

Make it playful and they'll likely respond and play along then just number close.

Wilko-- You must live where I do. I'm in Commuterville, surrounded by hotness, but they live here because they're married and pumping out kids. Too few are actually single, or advertising it.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
