"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hi, new guy here. I need some help with this...
Recently I've spent ten days in Belgrade, Serbia. Being a large city (almost two million people), and, more importantly, not being my home city (so nobody knew me), Belgrade was ideal for an inexperienced guy like me to finally start doing some sarging. So I did. The idea was to expand my comfort zone.
I did a couple of approaches that were completely ridiculous, but I thought - so much the better. The more embarrassing the line - the further my comfort zone will expand. I approached girls in a city park and said: "I got lost in this forest, could you show me the way back to Belgrade?" and stuff like that. I tried the "oh my God, is that you? How long has it been since we've seen each other" approach (the girl I approached with this completely ignored me, she just stopped for a moment and then left without saying a word - it was funny). I did a few situational openers. I eyecoded a girl in a city bus to offer her to sit by me when a group of policemen discussed which one of them will sit, and got the whole group to compliment my gentlemanly behavior and recognize my alpha status (can't really describe it well, but the vibe was there).
Now, you may ask - did I accomplish anything? Did I close any of those girls? Before I answer you this, let me tell you what happened later, in the last three evenings. Through social circle (important: not cold approach!) I met a girl, a solid HB 8. Since my inner game is still weak, I didn't expect that she could be attracted to me (thought she was out of my league), but I ran the game anyway. By the third evening (our friends were there the whole time), the two of us were flirting heavily, we gave each other massage, etc. I blew it in the end because I didn't recognize a **** test, and thought that it was a rejection, but that doesn't really matter. The point is that I am able to run some game, to flirt and attract girls, when I meet them through social circle (which happens very rarely - that's the problem), and not through a cold approach.
This brings us to my problem. My approach anxiety has reduced, it's still there, but I can approach. The problem is that I SUCK in the early game, in the part for which Juggler's 90:10 rule applies. When I meet a girl through friends, I don't have to lead the conversation all the time. I can be relatively quiet, until a good conversation thread opens. In a cold approach, however, you must do all the talking in the beginning. To me, it's not so difficult to run some game when a girl's mood changes from "who is this guy and why is he talking to me/us" to "this guy and me are talking and having fun", but that transition is as difficult for me as climbing the Mt. Everest.
I have read incredible amounts of material from mASF and other sources. I translated so much of it to Serbian, and when I look at all that material, I see that I don't have ANYTHING for the early game, and so much material for later.
I've seen that many people use stories like "bad ass little kid" or "gay cats routine", but I've already experienced that I can't bring myself to run them, at least not in the beginning. It feels stupid to me, and very unnatural. I can't use Swinggcat's routines like "how well do you know 80-is pop music - dog names routine", because I don't know much about music, and don't know anything about dog breeds. I've seen countless routines for later stages of the game which I LOVED, but none of these "early game light story routines" that I even liked. It's so unnatural to me to simply approach a stranger and start telling her a story about gay cats or something. What's worse, my life has been pretty boring, and I don't have good stories of my own (well, I do have some, but mostly of events when I made a fool of myself, and that's not the kind of funny story to tell a girl).
I thought I liked opinion openers, but there is again the problem of transitioning to the next topic. I can ask girls "who lies more", they'll say what they think, I'll say "no, girls lie more because they wear makeup to make themselves more pretty" or something, and then what? Gay cats? I need something that would feel more natural (something situational, or even something of a "what do you do" kind - but more interesting), even though it may not be the best solution that a good PUA would offer.
I am sure that some of you guys have a different approach to early game. Help! HEEEELP!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I hear what you're saying completely. I get what you're saying about canned routines not feeling natural to you. To make it worse people will say, "don't ask her question like where do you live, what kind of work do you do, what's your major, etc.. " Because they say it's boring. But you do have to carry 90 percent of the conversation initially on a cold approach and these "boring" questions are better than nothing. Plus they come acrossed as normal and not weird like some of the canned stuff does. You're just trying to get her warmed up and comfortable with you and see if she takes an interest in you. Then you become more flirty and escalate.

I know people don't like to believe it, but if you don't have really good looks and body language you have to work your butt off for little reward with CA, you'll get blown out a lot. It's not easy making a conversation happen with a female who's total stranger especially when she's not giving you anything to work with. It gets monotonous boring and a chore. There was a few post on here about making conversation. Check out the DJ bible. But basically ask her a question, then basically repeat what she says back to her, elaborate on it a bit, and try to show how it relates to you and how you and her you have stuff in common..
