Anyone ever heard of a game where the girl calls you back and leaves you a message at the times she is not sure that you'll be home. Seems to me like a new way of ovoidance. Next.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Maybe I need to make it a little clearer:

I called this girl last night, she was busy and asked if she could call me back in a little while. I said sure, but it was late for a weekday. I never actually thought she'd call back, and she didn't last night. I was going to call her back in like a week or so.

I came in from work, 8-5, and she had left a message, complete with reason she didn't call me back and asked me to call her when I could today. OK, I tried and since she left me a message I said I should be back here after 10PM, I also added that "How did you know phone tag was my favorite game, very sarcastic humor. Anyway I come home and she'd already called. WTF? A time she knew I wasn't going to be home.

I'm not trying her again until next Wednesday.

Thats a new one for the books Disco. Honestly I wouldn't know what to make of it. She could be trying to play you, avoid you or she is into you and breaking some major rules for a HB. I'd suggest seeing if Anti-Dump is still around, he might know something about this. But so far you sound like your playing the game right by not getting to invested in this woman.

It sounds like attention wh0re behavior to me or silly little child games at the very least.

My guess is she wants to keep you on the hook by pretending to be interested in you, yet avoid you at the same time; kind of keeping you on the back burner whilst she attends to her priorities which could be another man.

If this seems to be a pattern, then I recommend that you dump this girl immediately.
