You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

Before I start off---- mods, feel free to move this thread in the right section.

I am a 19 year old guy that has never been with anyone before. I am not complaining, I was just never interested in someone. Don't get me wrong, I was once. But I screwed it all up by putting all the cards on the table. I have learned from my mistake.

I'm officially ready for a change.

Truth be told, I've had problems with the way I looked which is the reason (and justification) for why I never bothered with girls after I got turned down by that one person.

How do I act? What do I do? I am at square one here. I can literally be someone else because no one knows me except for a handful of people.

Any tips for this new guy? My new school starts in a couple of weeks. Thanks in advance.

ColoRED,

First, ask yourself this question:
  • If I knew that I COULD NOT fail, what kind of man would i want to be?
Secondly, ask yourself:
  • Who do I know (or know "of") who embodies the type of man that I want to become?
Then, once you've answered those two questions, befriend that person and see if they are willing to officially (or unofficially) mentor you. Also, if the person that fits your role model criteria is a fictitious or unreachable person---then take it upon yourself to study them, learn their methods, and adopt and adapt all these things to YOUR life.

Think of this whole process as becoming a disciple or understudy. Then, when you've learned as much as you can from them, KEEP those lessons and attributes that fit YOUR life---and then throwaway the rest.

Recognize this:

Almost every great man is inspired (or has been inspired) by someone else to pursue greatness himself. Then, once he "comes into his own"---he begins to blaze his own ORIGINAL trail.

Much RESPECT and future SUCCESS to you.

Hi V.U., thanks for responding!

I do have someone I look up to, but they are unreachable. I have studied their behavior, or at least the way they act. It seems to work for them because there is something so extraordinary about them. But whatever else I can copy, I will do so. I am not sure, however, if I will be able to reach the same effect for I lack what it is that makes them so extraordinary.

I hope that the future brings out a lot of oppurtunities, but as of right now, I doubt that is happening.

ColoRED,

Also remember that future success is often fueled by the confidence that we feel from remembering our past successes. Every man has his "wheelhouse"---his area of EXCELLENCE.

Find something about yourself that you feel good about, that you feel PROUD of, that you feel confident about---then BUILD up that portion of your life even bigger. Know that success in one area of your life can inspire you/motivate you to success in other areas.

Such as: "If I'm good at A, then I can use A to expand into related areas in order to become better at B."

Example: If you're good at art, and you strive to excel at this, then you will naturally start drawing into your social circle those people (and women) who share your affinity for art---and/or admire and RECOGNIZE your greatness at producing art.

In a sense, think of building your confidence the same as owning the ground upon which you stand---then EXPAND your circle of impact in such a way that you can use your INFLUENCE within your circle to become a LEADER within it.

Do you get what I'm saying?

If you make yourself the brightest star in your particular area of space---then the less difficult it will be to become successful with those women because they'll more than likely gravitate towards you because they're already your "fans".

People tend to want to hang around, defer to, and become attracted to WINNERS. You probably already are a winner in certain areas of your life, so I recommend you MAGNIFY those areas so that "who you are" will attract people to you much more than simply "what you do".

The mission here is to not seek to impress---but instead---BE IMPRESSIVE.

RESPECT.
