"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I am 17, and about to turn 18, I frequent many teen clubs, but they are losing my interest. I would really appreciate if I could get some advice on these topics.

1. So if I decided to try an older club, and lets say I tried to bribe the bouncer with some money. What would be the proper way to do so, and with how much money for either a low level, mid level, or high profile club. I was thinking I could slip some money folded up behind my ID when I hand it to the doorman, and just act like its a proper ID, and hope he catches the drift without saying anything. Are there any other ways, and how to they nomally react to someone doing something like that.

2. I also Would like some tips on different and better ways of networking, I want to get to know some of the bouncers, frequent a few particular clubs a little more often, but I dont want to come off as a weirdo, since I generally go to the clubs alone and I dont want to come off as too awkward. When are the proper times to do this, and would they be offended if I tried to be forward and ask after talking to them a bit, if I could get VIP treatment and get in at the front of the line, or even for free.

3. Lastly I wanted any tips on the best way to chalk an ID, since Florida ID's are pretty hard to fake, what the the easiest and simple to obtain alternative ID's, and which ones work best. I am thinking of going to the DMV, and getting a duplicate liscense by saying I lost my other one, then basically getting an identical size nad style font and printing it out on my computer, and using a razorblade to cut it off the paper since I only have to change 3 digits, then going to a copy store and having them laminate over the top of the ID, when no one is looking, so this way the ID is smooth and shiny, and with precise alighment, the ID will be hard to spot, considering everything else on it is legit. Any tips on this or alternative methods.

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Bribing bouncers is sketch because they can simply take your money hand back your ID and tell you you're still not getting in if they want and really they're justified in this. When I was underaged I did this a few times and it did work for some of them if you come across the right way and the guys not all straight arrow and what not. You may want to pony up with a posse of hot girls too. Bouncers are usually instructed to let swarms of hot and yes even underaged girls in becuase it gets more chumps to buy drinks in the club. Getting to know bouncers is a good Idea but what I've found works the best is to find a GM or an assistant GM of the club and get their card. That way when you come back you really don't even have to show your ID to the bouncer just say you're good friends with someone in managment and they'll usually let you right in. Mix it up with a managers card AND hot girls and you're in for sure anywhere.

As far as ID's go...well I haven't been underaged for while but I do remember going to florida when I was 22 and a guy STILL questioned my out of state ID. Forunately I had my health card with me which also had my age on it but I was like WTF how is this happening. Needless to say you've probably got to find a pretty decent ID if you want to go to a 21 and over club underaged. All I can say is good luck with that.

PS actually I think there are a few post on here about Fake ID's and Ideas you should do a search and throw a few of them around. Never know, one of them might be right on the money.

1. I suggest you wait until you are the proper age. There is more fun in youth than just getting drunk. Spend the few years until you are 21 doing other things for fun, so that when you hit 21 and decide to go out drinking, at least you had more of a well-rounded experience of fun than most people, whom define all fun by the bottle. Think about it this way: once you hit 21 you will have about fifty years to drink and party all you want, why the rush. I hang out with many people in their mid or late twenties and I don't know of any who regretted not drinking sooner than they did.

2. I've gotten to know a few bouncers over the years. You do it by being a regular and just having fun there rather than having some secret agenda. There are cool bouncers, there are crappy bouncers. If you are a nice, interesting, cool person, you will invariably befriend some bouncers.

3. I also live in Florida and, dude, look at your license. You can’t manually fake it. The IDs are not laminated but rather a solid piece of plastic. And let it not be forgotten that when bouncers check your ID they bend it and look at it at all sorts of angles. They are also smarter than you. They know all the tricks of the trade that teenagers try to pull off.

There are some bars I like to hang out in which do not check IDs at the door. Tonight I was hanging out in one when two police officers entered and began checking some IDs. I didn’t care, seeing how I am 25, and I cared more about the fact my truck was illegally parked. Point is, you never know when the police will do their suprise underage checks of bars.

If you have an older brother, or a friend that has an old id that he doesn't need anymore? That would be easiest

I work the door at a local club and I get every excuse in the book. LOL. I had one idiot try to give me a piece of paper with an out of state licence PHOTO COPYED on it!!!! I looked at my partner and we both busted out laughing. About the "slip him some money"...that depends on the club. The liquor licence is new so the owner wants EVERYBODY to have ID. I politly ask for ID from each person who comes to the door I say "21 to 101 I need to see your ID". In our state there is a zero tolerance law. A person who has had two DUI's gets their ID revoked and isnt permitted in a bar. I make anywhere between 75-125 dollars a night so the person would have to give me a boat load of $$$ for me to take the risk of losing an easy job. Not to mention if the bouncer is a cop he may decide to be a **** and write you a citation.

If you want to make friends with bouncers try going to the local gyms and martial arts/ boxing clubs, thats where you would find me...LOL

If I were you, I'd be very careful about faking an ID. I work in municipal court, and they tend to throw the book at teens they catch with Fake IDs. Once you turn 18, it goes on your record permenantly, and depending on what kind of job you want to get down the line, you really don't want to be explaining why you have an M1 or possibly an F5 on your record.

Most of your better clubs won't let you see a door with one anyway. The bouncers aren't stupid; they've seen their share of good IDs and bad IDs. Yours won't fool them, no matter how good you think it looks.
