New Club - story

Ok, new club opened in my area, so i went and checked it out on Sat night. Had about 7 friends with me but when we got to the club, 5 of them couldn't get in due to their shoes

So anyway, me and the other guy - best friend out of the group anyway decided we will give it a go anyways.

We get in there and it rocks, its going off.
The STRANGE thing is though, that the only people on the dance floor are ladies, all the guys are standing near the bar just chatting or watching the chicks dance.

So, leaving the fags to it, we hit the floor. Dancing in amongst 30 women isn't 2 bad! Got quite a few smile from the ladies (and some death stares from lots of guys!), even gave one HB8 walking by a nice wave after she gave me and my bud some serious EC. Said some hello's to some ladies but just had a ball dancing!

Didn't make any serious approaches however, until - HB9.5 caught my eye, now this girl was FINE. Best looking babe i have seen in agez..if not, ever.

Now, after reading the DJ bible / this forum over and over, trying to cramp this stuff into my brain, i usually wouldnt have a prob approaching BUT, 3 seconds came and went.. She did have friends with her, and 2 guys ; but, she if they were with her, she deserved better

Anyway, i said 'fuk it' and made my way through the crowd, went up to her, smiled and said ..... ...... "I love your hair" ... WTF! kinda froze i guess, she was even hotter up close, DAMN!! I had nothing!

Now, i know i need to take her off her pedestal, but... i met my match on that night!

Oh well, thats what i get for trying to hook the biggest fish on my first PU. Maybe a few medium sizes would have been a good start.

Well, i used all my energy pushing myself for the approach that i didn't put any thought into the conversation. So the best i had was "love ya hair" which i picked because it was different (her hair), it had like crimps in it, so, being a chick i figured she'd spent agez on it But, still.. corny line and it took me no where quick!
Plus..that was all i had, nothing else came out!

what did she reply by saying?

She gave me 2 thumbs up and a cute smile
Someone come show me how to work a chick like this, zero to AFC in under 6 seconds!

Man she was hot.

I bet most of us have experienced the same thing. One suggestion is not to count yourself out without putting everything you've got into sarging your prey.

The hair thing may seem a bit (insert your lame description here), but at least you made your approach. Your nervousness could have been because you flew into the pack without your wingman. Next time try luring her away from her fighter escort. It can be as easy as walking up to her and taking her hand while saying "Hi, come dance with me..." and leading her to the dance floor. Given this works better if there's been mutual eye contact

And then what ? See if she remembers me ?

Or do a SMOOTH approach next time ?

dude, you should have not said anything yet, the 3 sec rule doesnt need to be followed all the time. I would dance around with other girls first, to get the feeling and social proof, then later on move on to her. I'd say "Hey sexy, let me see your moves" and see if she hits it with me.

Just ordinary sneakers, not dress shoes.
The club is Rush night club.

Well, at least she knows i like..her hair.. who knows, she may hunt me down! Oh well, ill head their alone next weekend, retry my luck and rethink my moves -if you can call them that!

Rush, it's way out West of Syd, it's in Orange, NSW, actually.
Definately a great club, been out in Sydney heaps and it has a lot 'friendlier' feel than 99% of clubs there, not to mention the chicks out there, damn! Oh, and free entry before 10, plus..the best music - stuff you can dance 2 and gets ya in the mood!
And the home of the only HB9.5 i have seen, ever!

Yeah, you need a collar and dressier shoes to get in. Once inside i took of my collared shirt though

Hitting it again this weekend. Third weekend in a row and it only opened 3 weeks ago!

What seperates the real Don Juans from the AFC's is practice. I have a whole repetoire of lines that I use for different situations in nightclubs. I reherse them before I go out and then when I approach women, the lines flow out of my mouth as if I thought them up on the spot. I encourage you to do this because it makes pick-ups 10 times easier.

Don't dwell on the past. Go out there and practice.

Look for a branching word. Maybe dance, fun etc..

Credits for having the balls to go up to her dude, but the ending reminded me of american pie, where the dude walks up to the gals and just laughs. LOL

Well at least you had a good time, thats what counts.

Personally If I can't come up with a decent opener, I just go with the good old "Hi, how are ya". Its not flashy, but it does its job.

However as wheelin&dealin has said, it can only help the game if you have some effective tools at ur desposal.

Of course you already knew all of this, but I am just saying for the sake of raising my post count
