I have seen a lot of guys post here about girls downgrading their dates to lunch dates and then when it goes wrong they wonder why....here is how you handle it from the get go...this is a girl who i cold approached a few weeks ago and just haven't met because i have been spending time with my GF who i am now finished with because i am leaving...

Her: hey, how have you been doing? will have time to meet before you leave Taiwan? it would be nice to see you before you leave

Me: yeah maybe on Saturday after i am finished packing...we could grab a drink once i am finished and head back to my place to see a movie (this is pretty bold and usually i never hint at sex before the date but in this case i don't care to go unless it's a sure thing because she is just a HB7 and i don't care about scaring her away)

Her: how about we meet at lunch time in front of sogo department store and just go to the cinema there and see a movie...

Me: i was thinking more of a great Thai place that i know....and lunch is too early but anyways, i am still not certain about my schedule....i will let you know for sure later

Her: oh, you mean meet on Saturday....i see (like she didn't know the first time) ok, yeah i can do that

At this point i will likely just go ghost unless i am extra horny on Saturday after i finish work....don't ever let women flip the script on you...

:yes: Repped for the bluff call. I haven't lost to a bluff since 02. There was a pregnancy in between which fvcked me and the house took everything, but apart from that I got pretty good at these games. Nice work. And you know what? This is how its done. Its unfortunate that a lot of threads like this with golden wisdom are mostly ignored and end up on the second page within hours. At the same time, the threads by weak betas having nervous breakdowns over dumb skanks go on for weeks.

This is one of the main reasons I use so much offensive language in my threads. If you don't smack people in the head with your words, they don't really pay attention.

Interesting, the "high post count on forum = loser" ad hominem fallacy and the "your concerns aren't worth taking five minutes to post on the internet" attack in one post. Truly an incisive and convincing argument that I haven't seen about 8497 times during 20 years online.

Would you be a high school girl by chance? or a women's studies major in a junior college somewhere? Maybe a low level bureaucrat in an outback DFACS office somewhere? Because that's where I've seen the above quoted reasoning most often repeated.

Dude the funniest thing about this is that I actually remember you from 2008. You were a pretty philosophical guy (hence you're name, which I assume is a reference to Heidegger?) and I read a bunch of your old essays.

The OP is specifically addressing the posters on here who constantly either:

A) agree to lame lunch style and/or coffee dates

B) suggest an evening date for a drink or 2 or even dinner, but accepts when the girl makes up an excuse and downgrades it to a lunch date

Then they come on here and wonder why things didn't pan out...i believe Korrupt was the last poster in such case...your frame is ruined from the get go as you are going out on her terms not yours...

She messaged some kid of picture of a cake to me and said don't forget me! followed by have a safe landing...

Obviously, i could have easily banged her...would have been putty in my hands...but i decided to join a BBQ with my best friend and some of my co-workers here in Taiwan to say good bye. Plus, i have been putting in steady work on one of my co-workers, a HB 8.5 who is way hotter than the HB7 and would like to go for it all tonight with her since i will won't have to work there any more. Have been fantasizing about banging her for quite some time now...the whole teacher fantasy thing.

I personally wouldn't ditch her based on this. There have been many times where I was able to turn something "casual" and raise the hell out of her IL, just by showing her a really fun time.

One thing I've learned (and I'm still trying to put into practice) is you don't have to follow the social rules that have been laid out. You don't have to answer a woman's questions (especially with online dating) and you don't have to stick to the plan that you had (ex: meet up for lunch without an appetite and go browse some local shops instead). Apply kino, flirt, and be funny. Women get one hell of a surprise when they go out, expecting to have a casual lunch and instead get hit by the truck of attraction.

I NEVER turn down an opening to meet with a woman in person because you cannot effectively create attraction over the phone or text.
