"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hi guys,

I've recently been seeing this woman and things are progressing nicely, seeing her several times a week and recently sleeping with her. However, I never initiate text conversation, it is always her messaging me first.

Obviously this is good. But I'm wondering if she will get fed up of always texting me first asking how I am. I want to know how she is but I'm not bothered enough to message her first and I don't want to come across needy and lose the power in the relationship.. I hope this makes sense. I've been led to believe that the woman should do the chasing and we as a man should be a little uninterested.

Opinions please guys.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

60/40 to 80/20 % her initiating is good IMO.

If she is initiating every single time, she will in fact feel like you are putting zero effort into it. Its a good idea to message her every now and then out of the blue. Make it something that sounds fun and exciting, but leave it open to seeing her later, which is what you want to do anyway.

"Hey you will never believe what I did today.....I will tell you about it later over drinks. How is 8pm?"

It lets her know that you do think about her even though you're not initiating a lot of texts and gets to the point of meeting up and later sex.

I learned a long time ago that we as me want to feel respected and women want to feel wanted, but not suffocated.

Keep up what you're doing and just throw her an initiated text on occasion and you'll be fine.

Dude, you don't lose the power in the relationship if you text her when you wanna text her. Get out of this "gaming" and "losing power". You ain't got the power in this relationship. She CHOOSES when you talk cause she messages you and you probably answer everytime. If you had the power, you would message her when you wanted and she would respond.

You cannot lose power you don't have.

I had that with the most recent girl I've talked to. I agree with both the posters above. She aways initiated and I felt good about it. However, it's possible I waited too long to initiate a text conversation because she eventually stopped texting. In a slight panic I sent her a couple of texts, being careful not to appear needy, but I didn't receive a reply. So I would do what Glassguy said and send her something soon before she too thinks you're playing games.
