Neon Lights on cars

Well i just got some today, i havent installed them yet, but i think that they're gonna look hot once they in, i got 2 , 48 inch bars for the sides and 2, 30 inch for the front and rear, my car is green so , yes u guessed the lights are green too.

Those things are illegal in Las Vegas, yet autozone still sells them and I see them on cars from time to time. When I move to Miami I suspect I'll see alot of this kind of thing.

I agree that it's kinda shallow trying to attract chicks with your neon ligths. However, i find those colored neon lights pretty cool though, at night.

I mean it's not like I'd confuse purple neon running lights for a cop car and I certainly won't be blinded by them. I guess vegas just likes hitting whoever they can with heavy fines.

Neon lights are okay as long as you're doing it for you and the right way. My friend has a pimpin custom RX8 with a phat racing stripe (A medium blue strip with red stripes on either side of it) an zenon head lamps. anyway he put a neon blue undercarriage light in the front and a red undercarriage light in the back.

At night it looks SICK. I wouldn't do it to my car but I'm not really the fast and furious type. I want an SRT-8 Charger when it comes out. I think neon lights would take away from the overall look of the car.

Nawh dont get me wrong people, im not doing it to "attract more hotties" i'm doing it cause i like it, i think that it looks cool and all, i could careless if it would attract more hotties or not, thats not the reason why im getting them i just like them.

Also i went to a mechanic and he told me that it is illegal to drive with them on, but i can have them on when im parked, i was kinda disappointed cause i wanted to drive with them on.

Anybody ever got pulled over for having neon lights on while driving?
I Was thinking that it might be the samething as tinted windows too dark, and police just overlooks it, but i dont know.

Most police from what i hear are cool with it and dont give much hassle , the only colour ive ever heard them give ppl hassle about is red because its a police and somethin or other colour. i have a blue faceplate that goes around my stero and 2 12" tubes under my dash and the entire cabin of my car fills with blue neon , driven past cops and never got in any trouble . they dont really care. just depends on if u get a cop whos maybe had a bad day.

No, if he were a racer he wouldn't waste his money on sh*t like that that doesn't make your car any faster.

I can't stand the stupid kids that put body kits, spoilers, etc. on their slow cars to make them look fast, when really their car is nothing but a pathetic Civic.
