Too harsh nor funny enough (even for a neg hit). If that gets her wet she's a moose.

Try- I really like the way you've put your outfit together.

If she's positive carry on, but no more comps.

But if she dismisses the comp immdeiately folow it up with something like- It's amazing what you can pick up at charity shops these days.

Tone and facial expression need to be right, the way the verbal message is taken is through your non-verbal cues.

the thing i noticed about being ****y and funny and thinking up neg hits is its actaully easier when your talking to a girl rather than sitting trying to think this up does anyone else think this too?

You are a pro, even I couldn't get that to work. Yeah know what you mean about just being in the zone though.

Although I think it stems from practice and internalising the stuff you read, so when you need it, it's without thought.

My other key thing that no one on the outside knows is I stop all internal dialogue.

I used to have the voice of doubt on my shoulder, after ditching that, my success ratio and approaches went up 5 fold.

yeah alpine i know exactly what you mean man with internal dialogue it used to hold me back i think using the "3 second rule" is gr8 to stop doubt. If you think of something witty to say just say it within 3 seconds of thinking it or it wil be too l8 and u will kick yourself for ****ing up.
