Yup, so do I.. The majority of them out there that I've so far been able to find, that use modern, feature laden forum software like vb or phpbb, and are active and have a low noise-signal ratio, are closed membership, invite-only, or they want you to buy thier crap products to get in..

So, what have you guys found? I cant find isht, and I think of my google-fu as being somewhat above average..

Other sites aren't as active. There was SBB, but that was tight knit, and everyones moved on now.

So this one is the best.. Well I'm glad Ive found it then.. :)

Thanks Derek, and please keep them coming, even less active ones have archives worth looking through.. :) This one does seem so far somparatively active, though..

By the way to Eccentric - wasn't meaning to cause any mischief, just trying to expand my sources of knowledge..
