"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ok here's my situation on the last day of school I gave this girl in one of my classes a ride home. We had a great conversation in the car and before I dropped her off I said i'll see her next year or maybe over the summer and before i could ask for her number she was already writing it down for me.

Anyways the next night I texted her and and she gave me obvious signs that she wanted me to take her out. she said stuff like "you should take me sometime : )" and she did it multiple times and started flirting with me pretty hard. Anyways I asked her out last Wednesday to hangout and she had cancelled on me telling me she stayed out late and her mom got upset because she didn't let her know she was staying out. I got a friend of mine who knew her to tell me that infact she wasn't flaking on me for no reason.

I brushed it off and a few days later I asked to set up a day to hangout today. I sent her a text saying i'd call her once i'm outside her house. anyways she sent me a message saying that she had gotten called into work and that she was sorry.

It seemed like she was really into me with the way she was texting me/talking to me in the car. I haven't sent her a single message since she sent me the message saying she was busy.

My question is what should i do from here if anything since i'm still pretty interested in this girl.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Wait for her to contact you man. That's basically the best thing for you to do.
She does seem pretty flaky here don't ya think man?
Just don't get attached or side tracked by her actions. I think spinning some other plates would help so you can get her out of her mind.

Good that you have interest in her, just remember, don't get too attached that you start being desperate.

Keep on doing your thing man. If I missed any part of your question or feel like my answer didn't help you, let me know. GO HARD!

Simple simple.
Just reply;
'Not a problem, we can schedule something later then'
Or something like that. Main thing is don't get emotionally affected by her flaking. If she wants to hang, she'll take initiative and schedule something for the both of y'all. Till' then, wait man, just wait. And spin plates.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Spin plates: Talk to other girls and schedule things with them and do stuff with them. These girls that you hang with and get to know will be on your 'team' of girls to chill and 'do stuff' with. Around here(Sosuave), we call them plates.

Better or still confused?

No problem man.

Hm, go cold for a day or 2. No more then 3 days. You'll have your answer as to where she is at with you. Because if she's interested she'll contact you man. I think you can pull this off dude. Have faith and just make the right moves. And hope she feels the same about you.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

this is like my final question but thanks for the help so far man i really appreciate it I was kinda devastated that i got flaked on again but i really don't even care now after getting out of the house and talking to some friends. I just wanna see if i can potentially salvage this ****.

Nope. That's what going cold on her means. Don't talk to her.
Now did she send an I'm sorry text to you? If that's the case a good snarky reply would be 'make it up to me then'. Short and blunt and to the point. Then the going cold on her thing goes out of the window. With the 'make it up to me then' reply, you put the ball in her court, and she's gotta decide what she wants to do with it.

I have yet to say anything back if you think i should say something and then go Cold i prob will, I think i might just go cold then man and NOT send anything at all.

or send the 'Not a problem, we can schedule something later then' but worded differently

or just do what you said in the last post.

Well, it's your choice as to what's best for this situation. I honestly think the 'make it up to me then' or the not a problem, we can schedule something later then' would work, if you want to word it differently that's your choice too dude.

Though the 'make it up to me then' is more straight forward and makes her have to do something else you're history. But like I said, whatever you think is best dude.

Keep me updated on this, I'd like to know what's going on.

AFTER i did what you told me to RiceandChicken

she responded back with "So how are you?"

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

its been like 10 hours should i respond lol

I sent her another mesage i think i'm going
to ice her for good after this one for like
a day or two. i'm suprised she contacted me
so soon whatever.

UPDATE: she sent me some other message i'm just gonna wait for you to get back to me. i'm not trying to get into these texting games again. Unless YOU think its a good idea.

Update pt 2: we had a short conversation that SHE started it really didn't go anywhere it was about movies or some ****. I told her i was going to head out and am probably going to go along with ICING her as you suggested homie unless that's all out the window now.

Ya, Icing her will be a good idea dude. Ice her for a couple of days and see if she tries to get back at you. If not, then you know where you stand with her.

I actually did meet a girl today while I was out looking for a job

but uhm heres the update i sent her a text asking her how her's summer been since school let out sincei haven't texted her in a few days/had a real convo.

Would now be a good time to say

UPDATE:
she was like "I'm ok just been working hby?"
I was thinking of saying

"what do you do for fun and then say the line below after she replies"

"Hey you should come hang out with me and my friends sometime"

how should i word it? does that sound fine?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
