"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hey guys, new here but read most of the stuff in the Bible especially Pook and Anti-Dumps material, been reading some of the posts here for a while and finally decided to join.

Edited. Shortened, don't like putting up so much info, Girl is into me, lives out of town, started talking to her on facebook, went really well. Agreed to go for drinks next weekend so the next week came and I rang and planned a date for Saturday, shes babysitting until late on Saturday and said she text me if she can make it, Should I change to Friday instead or just see how Saturday works out?, don't like the idea of her letting me know by text, haven't met her in person yet but she's seen me around, I don't want to seem too eager but at the same time I want to meet in person sooner rather than later.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Find out her logistics Friday. If she's open rather move it to Friday.

If she's babysitting till late there's a chance she'll flake and have an excuse.

Anyways asked her about Friday and she's doing some school crap after school and gets picked up afterwards so that's a no, so this weekend is off, asked her about next week and she said she will try come in (don't like that word try), I've been told her parents are somewhat strict and surely she wouldn't make excuses up with someone she's never met face to face and wants to meet.

That's why she makes excuses. She's never met you, so why should she meet you? <- That's chick logic.
