"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Heres the situation: Ive been with my GF for over a year now. We live together currently, shes in grad school studying plant molecular biology and Im working for Wells Fargo. I have a bachelors and shes getting her masters. Now here is where I dont know what to do. She might be done this December with school and will be getting a job soon. Her job will most likely be higher pay than what I am currently doing. But I am looking to become a financial advisor which probably pulls in more money. But im not counting on it. In my line of work I could get a job anywhere in the US most likely with her its a lot more specific in where she could probably work. My thinking is that she will probably put her job first due to the fact of the masters degree and pay she has and will get. Im willing to move with her cause I think I could get a job wherever she lands. Does this seem fine? I also dont know if I should bring it up or if she should. let me know thanks

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

My oldest sister makes 6 figures a year and her field is highly competitive and doesn't have as many job openings. She does contract work for NASA. When her contract of quite a few years runs out, she has to find another job...and a few years ago had to either not work in her field and make much less money, or relocate from CA to MD. Her husband gave up his Electrician business because she made more money. He only works part time now and is semi-retired because if he works they'll lose his whole income by going up a tax bracket. They've been married 30 years, have two grown sons and her making more money works fine for them.

Look at it this way...if a woman who has more earning power than you is with you at least you KNOW it's because she wants YOU and not your money. And what guy doesn't want his woman wanting HIM instead of his cash? Her making more will only be a problem if you make it one.

If you two are really serious then I'd suggest bringing it up, and at least seeing where you both stand.

If her job is a bit more location specific, and you're more flexible, then why not decide between the both of you that she should apply wherever she has to, and then once that's nailed down, you can start looking in that area for work, as well.

This is all according to how serious you both are.... Does it look like you'll be getting married, etc.. etc?

If not then maybe you'll both have to part ways..... it's a tough call, when we don't really know how long you've been serious and what plans you've made.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Get a joint account.
then explain to her "your cash-a is me cash-a" logic.

lol

if i was to advise you about being a don, i'd say "beatch, how can u let your woman earn more then u etc....men lead...etc.... alpha etc"

but i see your just a normal guy. with normal fears.

you never know, you might earn more then her.

but still get the joint account.

talk to her about it. she's your girl friend, its something you two need to discuss, just not with us (not with people who'll always give opposing opinions).

She has more earning power...

You have more flexibility...

My girl earns 30% more than me and neither of us have any issues with it and again, I can probably work in a greater number of areas/locations but hers is more specific... it's just the way it is.

There's nothing to be confused about here. If you two are fairly serious about each other, just let it pan out. If you can easily follow her to where she can get work, then do it, no problem.

But I am looking to become a financial advisor which probably pulls in more money.

I have had this job - at least I had a series #7 for 7 years. The title sounds impressive, but it is a sales job. You have to always bring in new money. Many advisors have to telemarket to get new clients. Most people fail in the business, and that is why the pay is good for the few who make it. Good luck.

Did you have a 66 also? Did you work at a bank? or did you work for a financial firm? my friend works at a bank making almost 10k some months plus base. Its a lot of incoming. I currently work for Wells Fargo so shouldnt be a huge problem getting in.
