Okay, so in spanish there are 3 ways to say "you" (as you already know). They are "usted", "vos" and "tu". In my country we almost always use "usted"(which is the most formal of the three). If I am trying to pursue a girl, and we start using "usted" when should I start using "vos" or "tu"?
This is a really important matter because the phrase "I love you" always gets translated to " Te amo" which uses "tu", so the transition needs to happen. But when?

Spanish or English, the phrase "I love you" shouldn't come up any time soon. I'd say try to avoid saying it as much as possible within the first year, and then you can start saying it 20% of the time, and always let her be the one to say it first. This isn't really a language issue to be honest, either.

The thing is that whenever someone uses the phrase it will just sound very awkward(more awkward than just saying it in english) because it will be out of place. The thing is, I'm not nearly at that point with any girl right now, but I just wanted advice from fellow PUAs as to when I should start using another pronoun. Maybe when we first start dating, or once she's officially my girlfriend. It's just a doubt I have, but I don't need to do anything right now. Maybe we go a year speaking using "usted" and then when the time comes it will be super awkward. Maybe there is a right point to change things. It has nothing to do with when the right time is to say "Il ove you".
