Alright this is most definately going to be a retarded azz thread but please dont delete it because I think someone from this site can help me. Okay... on the seat belt of newer car models, there is a button that holds the seat belt clip up toward the middle in a reachable position and keeps it from falling to where the seatbelt attaches at the ground. Mine broke off... I have looked everywhere online and offline and can not find a place that sells just that button, and GM tells me that I have to buy a whole new seatbelt - thats bullsh!t. One time about a year ago I found a website that sold just those buttons for a whopping $2.00 per pair. A whole new seat belt for my car would be expensive and a waist since I know I can get a button for it somewhere. Can anyone tell me where to buy a pair of these 'seat belt stopper buttons?'

you could try

http://www.junkyarddog.com

You fill out a request of what you're looking for, and they contact all the salvage yards in your area. If any of them have what you're looking for (I'm sure it's not too hard to get this part) they'll email you back.

Thank you everyone for the advice, but I have tried junkyards and ebay already... I have found that the actual name for this part is a 'seat belt tounge button stopper.' Wierd terminology huh... Well this part is made to never come off of the seat belt, so you can not remove it with out breaking it. ebay has no intelligence on this item. I was lucky enough though to find ONE website that sells them... I will post it for anyone else who has ever had this problem:

http://www.gotbelts.com/buttonstops.html

Thanks everyone...
