"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I need some coaching here from people on this site. I had an unexpected opportunity tonight for a date tomorrow. Actually she asked me last weekend, but she had an accident and hurt her head and hip, so I didn't press the issue. I saw her on facebook tonight, she wanted me to call. She didn't answer, so when I saw her later od facebook, I messaged her.

She told me she was doing better, so I asked her out tomorrow night for pizza. She waited a few minutes to reply (unusual for her), and then says well I have an old girl friend who called in the meantime and wants to maybe go out tomorrow for fun. Maybe, we can all go somewhere. I don't know, for sure she says, I will have to get back with you tomorrow. She's been bugging me for six months, but I told her I wanted to wait until my marriage officially fell through, for gossip's sake (long story, but not important).

So I'm waiting...Now I haven't spent much time here lately (a big mistake), but I don't think this is the way I need to be getting off to a start with somebody. I used to date this chick when I was 17, but that's been a while, we've been talking for a couple of years now, she's just out of a bad marriage too. Please feel free, guys, to let me know how this isn't getting off to a good start, I need details. And most especially, how to handle things better. Thanks!!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Don't agree to the group date. That's a recipe for being friend zoned.
But I would push for a 1 on 1 meeting soon.
If she flakes again, pursue other prospects.

Good to hear, that's what I did tonight. Made plans for middle of the week, in my town, alone. I didn't like the invitation of another chick. Thanks for the reply.

Hip injuries make it difficult to have sex. She may be trying to wait until she is healthy enough for sex before she allows herself to be alone with you. She might be scared of a situation where she has to reject you for sex because of her health, but you take it personally and don't want to talk to her again.

What I will say is through experience.

This is typical female behavior. She pursued you for those 6 months because you were a challenge to her. She does not know where you stood with your ex wife. The competition with your ex wife was her sole purpose for attracting you. Once you started pursuing her, her mission is accomplished. She never had anything for you, just self-validation of men seeking her. You were a puppet. Her puppet.
