"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Hey, this is my first post - but I've been lurking for awhile, so hello - but on with the thread.

I am a 23 years old working college student, and as are far as appearances are concerned, I am above average, I think - forgive the lack of humility, but these threads need honest details.

I meet a lot of girls, I've dated a lot of girls (but usually ending in disappointment). Recently I have been working on my skills on approaching and what not. The past few weeks I have been on a high of sorts, because it seemed that as long as I was trying, I would get atleast a positive response from whatever girl I was approaching/flirting..etc.

To make a long story short, a very cool girl, probaly a 7.5 or so, worked at a restaurant I tend to go to on my lunch breaks. I would have never considered even getting her digits, but she went waaaaay out of her way to get to know me. Well, I actually lost her number. It happens. Luckily, she came in to my place of buisness, to visit me and we hung out for a good 30 minutes - and I made sure we exchanged numbers. Once again, she was sending allll the signals of being interested, I mean it was kinda suprising.

Well, I had some things to do at the school we both attend, and I decided to call her up to see if she wanted to tag along. This is about 3 days or so after she visited?

Anyways, I call her and ask her whats up, and she says, "Me and my boyfriend are just hanging out."

No worries, I played it cool, but it still sucked. My question: Was she just being an attention ***** and wanting me as a friend?

As of late it seems all the girls my age, who are worth the trouble, are taken. I usually have a rule, if a girl has a bf/fiance/husband, she is off limits - but I'm starting to question whether they are really that committed in the first place.

So what am I doing wrong? I am sure there is a whole list of things, but any specifics??

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Getting a girl to cheat on her boyfriend can be really easy or really hard. Keep her around for fun, see where it goes. Keep her waiting, tease her with attention, and all the good stuff. From what I see you are doing fine. Who knows, she may dump that zero and get with a permanent_daylight.

I like your rule.

I usually have a rule, if a girl has a bf/fiance/husband, she is off limits
Why? Because two things can happen in these situations.

1. You become her emotional tampon.
2. You make her cheat.

I don't like either of these scenarios, which is why I tend to agree with your rule.

She could be lying that she has a boyfriend, she could be telling the truth, or she could be just another attention wh*re out to get their jollies. Nevertheless, when a girl mentions the word boyfriend, she is erecting a huge wall of barrier between you and her. My rule is the same as above, I act friendly but make zero attempts at talking or even attempt on "hanging" out with her any longer.

I'm willing to bet she might even try to contact you if you do indeed start ignoring her, I'd stick to your guns and keep yourself away from this broad.
