I go to a school where there aren't enough girls to go around. The saying is that "the girls are like parking spaces: the good ones are taken and the rest are handicapped." Not having had too much good experience with women, I'm just now trying to be more open with every woman I meet.
So in steps this girl who on the 1-10 scale is about an 8. She's foreign and speaks with an accent, which increases the attraction. Anyway, I had a class with her last spring, and she's in a class with me now. We're both also taking piano with the same teacher. She seems cool, and talks to me, but I can't figure out whether she's interested in me solely as a friend, or something more. We've gotten together to study for our class, and will likely do so in the future. She tells me I'm funny, and that she thinks I'm a smart guy, but in the same breath she'll go on to mention guys she thinks are cute. Just last halloween (this Tuesday past) she called me to go to a Halloween party, and then she and her friend came back to my place to borrow a stapler (costume fix). She invited me to go with her and a friend to another party, which I, in my infatuation (I was a little high and she was dressed as a french maid. Her feather duster is here in my room because she forgot it, and it smells like heaven), couldn't refuse. At the party, these two girls have guys all over them. She spends the night flirting with this guy I've got nothing on. Captain of the weight-lifting team; benches 400+, handsome, tall, etc, etc. I'm no slouch, but this guy seemed to have exquisite style and confidence. At the end of the night, she doesn't leave with him, though. We all get a ride home from her friend, and as I'm dropped off, both girls say how they had a good time and hope to see me again. As I type this, I realize that what I suspect is probably true, but I'd like another perspective. Is it true? Have I been friend-zoned
There's a slew of other details, but according to the DJ method, I'm supposed to look at the bottom line. Problem is, I can't find the bottom line.
