I went on a date with this girl from work. We had a cup of coffe, talked and stuff. Before we parted I did manage to kiss her. As I see it the date went very well, some mistakes but mostly right.

Facts:
She's got my number, I haven't got hers.
The told me she's afraid of falling for me since she got burnt by her last boyfriend.
I like this girl, if she's who she seems to be, I'm gonna make her my girlfriend.

Anyways, here's the problem:
I went to work today, she was there and I asked her out for a second date. She didn't quite say yes, not quite no. Later she asked what time it begins (the band's cue). I told her and took it as a yes. Then all day she was really cold towards me, usually she smiles like crazy, but not today. (Also I had a very bad day and was *very* negative) So, I think that maybe she wants to see if I'm gonna go all puppy on her.

This is my "plan":
I have two days of work left before my military service starts. If I meet her at work (If I don't I'm just gonna forget about her until she calls) I'm gonna play it (something) like this:

"I like you... but right now I've got a lot on my mind (I have). My military service is starting soon and that's why I thought we should go out before that. I need to take some time and think about where I want to go." or that of the kind.

Now, I'm not sure about this, will it work to change the tables right (she's chasing me) or is it gonna **** it all up.

And please, don't give me crappy advice :)

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

you are over thinking what you need to say.

you should say "my service with the military is going to start really soon and i was really hoping we could go see a show before i have to get busy being all i can be haha"

leave it at that for now.
you dont owe her any explanations of anything else yet, because its not to that point and if you start saying all of that , she will get scared to go out due to your upcoming military involvment.

use the k.i.s.s. technique..... keep it simple silly

Hm actually that's ok but I've changed my mind a bit. Today I've gotten comments all day about having a bad day - I did have a bad couple of days that peaked today. As my friend said: "When you feel like that, you're just exhausted". It was so true, I'm feeling better now. Instead of going all wuss, weak AFC on her @$$ I'm just gonna be a man. **** her if she wants to be like that, if she doesn't I'll still **** her :D Before I quit work I'm gonna take numbers from all the girls I want anyway, plenty of room to play.

I'd like to clarify one thing tough, I live in STOCKHOLM, that's in SWEDEN. We don't invade arab countries :D JK It's only 10 months of training and then I can choose to sign up for international peacekeeping missions.
