"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

This is posted in this section because, well, this is (sort of) irrelevant to girls.
I have a friend. We are really close or used to be, we kind of distanced. (This is not about love, I promise, we're both straight guys). So this friend of mine, he has gotten past such difficult struggles in his life (eg. Depression etc.). He got better and is already a very high averaging student. He goes to get fit, he gets AMAZING grades, and he is also someone whom I keep comparing myself to. (Mostly education related) - I don't know why, it's like I put in so much effort to do something good, he puts like 5 minutes into work that he does and gets an amazing grade, while I end up with something crappy. I am only posting this cause this makes me want to rip my hair off that I keep comparing myself to him. This man is somehow getting girls (getting girls as in getting enough luck to be partnered up with a cute girl) and I have ****ty luck (getting partnered up with guys, being too ***** to do ANYTHING, even after reading WoMS and Book of Pook.) .(My apologies for my language). I just can't shake the part where I keep comparing myself to him. He brags a LOT about his grades and stuff and it makes me feel like complete ****. Any advice from you people. I honestly want to give up and just let go of everything, but I know that that'll just bite my ass even harder later on. I am desperate for advice. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. Oh, and please don't tell me to "just stop comparing yourself", cause it's a lot easier said than done, and a guy like me; it's almost impossible 'just to stop'. Please and thanks.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

He supports me very rarely. Back when he had tons of problems, I'd be the bro that stepped up and TRIED my best to help him. He doesn't really talk down either, the way he brags is by always bringing up his success. He gets upset when others are ****y but when it comes to himself, it's okay.

ok now lets have a look see... so you can't stop comparing yourself to someone that you think is superior to you because it seems that everything comes easy to him and not you. now heres my take on it...

quit your *****ing, don't get down about it get angry feel the burning desire to surpass him. do you really want to be like him and have such a seemingly easy life? yeah sure it would be nice but really why do you care so much about anothers sucess... because you are comparing it to your failure. so instead of worrying about him getting all the girls and the good grades concentrate on yourself, you came to this website for a reason right? and what is that reason, to better yourself! so apply yourself to everything you do in life be it girls, study or even a hobby or job and success will follow for the ones who put the effort in.

i have had 2 people to who i thought were my so called "friends" or "bro's" and they are exactly like the one you have described. yeah i felt bummed out about not being like them because they could get any girl *and had stolen my chance with girls even though they knew i wanted them* do you know what I did? I maned the f**k up and realised that I don't want to be like them because they were just A**holes (jerks) and now I am surpassing them in many ways. Without putting them on a pedestall of manliness and looking up to them i have come to realise them for what they really are and that's just another pile of s**t

but hey that's just my thoughts and experience.
