"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

o man whats with all the myspace stuff nowdays.... it's not rocket science, you just get their msn, then arrange to meet, simple as.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Website raises eyebrows among parents
10/31/05
BAKERSFIELD - A local mother wants to raise awareness about the blog spot with more than 32-millions users, most under the age of 22.

The woman wanted to remain anonymous but she contacted KGET-TV after she caught her child in a web of lies tracing back to the popular myspace.com.

She said the website, which was originally designed for aspiring musicians, has turned x-rated.

She described what her son was exposed to “snap shots of people, sex acts that they were taking with their cell phones and pasting on to this site, explicit context that is very inappropriate for children.” She caught her 13-year-old logging on to myspace.com and she was shocked when she checked out the website for herself.

The website says it's a place where you can meet your friend's friends, but this mother disagrees.

Local law enforcement said they haven't received any complaints about myspace.com, they do urge parents to be vigilant.

KCSO Deputy Richard Wood said, “look in the computer and see what they've been downloading, that's a good clue as to what the kids are doing on the internet.”

The website was founded in late 2003.

A representative from the website contacted KGET-TV stating they take these issues very seriously.

He goes on to say, they're working hard to stay at the forefront of user safety on the internet.

The mother who called KGET-TV says she has since taken away internet and cell phone privileges from her child.

Do what works for you man. IMO hot chicks... I take that back.... hideous chicks get tons and tons of IM's per day. Sometimes it seems like you're just another number..... I mean you really really have to stick out from the crowd.
I feel guilty "internet macking" though. I should be out in the field

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I agree that out in the field is much better. I just figured this was a simple way to meet girls. And considering that so many people in my area have one, this might be a way to meet new people.

I know for a fact, some girl friends of mine show my myspace to their friends and ask them what they think. So having something worth talking about might be worth it.

So my question was, any suggestions to stand out? Or help spark those initial conversations in which immediately (based on what she sees on myspace) she thinks I'm a potential guy for her? Having that edge, wheres shes got that preconceived notion that I'm a cool guy, would really help

As far as that article is concerned, there's porno all over the net, no avoiding it. Don't blame myspace for the incident, they can't monitor millions of users pictures every second of the day.

Man.... If you've already hooked up with 2 off of myspace, why are you asking how to do it? You obviously know how to do it if youve done it twice.
