"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

To all you guys who actually go out and do field work, I have a little question for you all. My bar / club game is pretty good, above average I'd say. I can usually get an f-close about once every 6-8 trips, which isn't bad. #'s and kiss closes, those are a different story. The point is, I don't have trouble getting women in the field.

I've been tryin' out myspace these past few months, and it seems to me like its a whole different ball game. Meeting w/ girls isn't difficult, but it seems like every girl that agrees to meet is like a brick wall. I mean, sh#t, these girls are impossible to f-close even after a few dates. And they're all most all worse looking in real life than in their picture.

So is it just me, or do you all think there's absolutely no benefit in online dating except for the lazy AFC's who won't approach women in real life.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

id say there is some benifactor..if I was single..Id try 10 percent online, 90 percent real life...I work a lot..so online would pass time during the day and if I found a diamond in the rough that would be good. IMO..dont take the online serious...and maybe you will find gold there.

I won't lie. I have a very short attention span, and tend to get very lazy. Especially this time of year. Once I'm in my comfort zone, it takes a barrage of phone calls to persuade me to leave the house.

On the other hand when it's warm, my house is a pit stop for night life.

I have an account with MySpace, and if I don't know you, I wont send you a random friend request, especially with girls. Sure they may seem cool because they have 600 friends, 590 of them guys... But if you email them on another level, or read their blogs, they CANT stand the guys they meet on that site.

Every guy thinkgs he's an online Romeo trying to get into her pants. Some girls on my friends list put "In a relationship" just so guys will stop, and they don't get the hint.

So if you want to get with one of these girls, chances are you're going to have to be the "cant miss guy". I'm a Yankees fan, and this girl emailed me about them being a fan as well. Small talk about the team first, started to get a little more personal. She said the whole MySpace.com thing was weird, so she gave me her #. We chatted for a few days, and figured what the hell, grab lunch in a few days. Picked her up, had lunch, had fun, went back to her dorm that night and sealed the deal. Never talked to her on MySpace again.

Was that her intention? Probably not. But if a guy created enough attraction, girls will bend their own rules.

Similar story with the other girl, so I wont write about that. So yes I have ****ed 2 girls from there. But to actually browse that site JUST for ass really doesn't work.

You cant read body language, no kino, blah. No fun.

What I will say though is that its great for your social status. Not because of comments or that crap, but you may run into a friend of a friend, talk to them a bit, get invited to a party, etc.

Was I lucky? Yeah probably. But a night out on the town and you'll see more hotties that you can approach in one night than you'd ever meet on MySpace in a year.

BTW, I was a cool person for a day or so. I had over 3,000 profile views and about 500 friend requests. My page was C&F thanks to some TuckerMax material. Girls loved it or so thats what they wrote. I added about 200 friends. About 50 of them were anything I'd consider ****ing. So I sent them C/F messages about them or their profile. You know how many I ended up "talking" to in the long run? 3. Don't mistake a girls ego for having interest if she adds you as a friend.

I agree with much of what eccentric said.

I have been doing the online dating thing thing part time for quite a while. What I mean by part time is I don't exclusively rely on it but it has its benefits when you don't feel like going out to pick up girls especially this time of year. You can just sit in front of the computer on a cold night and spit out a barrage of e-mails with the hope that some at least decent looking girls will respond.

In that respect it is hit or miss. Some guys seem to be pretty good at it and can get 2, 3 or even 4 dates a week. They swear by it, but it takes a certain talent to consistently get the good looking girls to go out with you. In that respect your profile has to really stand out.

Can you get lucky and strike gold? Certainly, but persistence is key.

One time I was bored and decided to send a bunch of random e-mails to the best looking girls I can find. When I say good looking I mean nothing less than an 8. Low and behold, a playboy pin up lookalike responded and after a couple of exchanges we decided to meet up. The girl looked even better than her picture and was really stacked with these incredible DD's and the whole nine yards. Well, after a night of some drinks and laughs we ended back at my place and I closed the deal. Did I see her aqain? No. But, I knew she was probably just horny and saw an attractive guy who showed interest and used me to temporarily quell her needs. I repeated the same scenario with a couple of other girls with the same result. But, only after much persistence and close to a hundred e-mails I suppose.

To answer your question, the great majority of women you meet online are not really worth more than a short fling at best from my experience. The ones who are looking for an LTR are either fat and ugly or have some serious issues. And, they probably for the most part, view us guys in the same vain.

You want to meet quality girls for something long term, they are in church, at the malls, book stores, etc.

Both those scenes work if you are attractive or if the girl is desperate.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Online dating

I've contacted literally thousands of women online over a period of ten years. Most of them never responded to my generic messages. I don't spend any time on this ****, I just sent random messages while waiting for friends to pick me up or while I was on break at work.

I've had sex with 22 women from online dating sites, messenger, etc. Almost all of those 22 happened in the past two years. I've met 3 ex-strippers, two women with a Masters in their fields, women on drugs, women with ALL kinds of problems. You can laid through online dating, and you can get a gf.

It is true that most women desperate enough to use a dating service will have problems. Also the ones you meet in bars and by chance online will too. You won't find too many women without major problems. However, most of these problems don't have to be a deal breaker. Try to keep and open mind.
