myspace problem

I just recieved a friend request from somene, and it took me to my inbox on myspace, where it told me that there were no messages. I can't find my friend in the search of myspace, even though I her name was on the request email and I searched it on myspace.

I reported the problem and asked my friend to sned me her URL address and resend the request.

Has this ever happened to anyone? and how do you fix it?

It might have thought it was spam that the system deletes. Or the systems buggy.

Myspace has been having a lot of problems the last couple days

Probably not enough bandwidth for the immense amount of traffic. Sh1t happens.
