"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

:D Hey thurr
it's been YEARS since I've been on here.. holy guacamole. Moving on with life, now I'm living in Wisconsin out of all places.. good thing I'm close to the twin cities. I cannot get used to this state...
Anyway-
so i'm looking for a smart, ****y & funny comment to post on this girl's facebook. I met her the other day through my friend, she lives in the cities but we really hit it off well... Had I had more time to stay in the cities(and had my friend not been the third leg there for a moment lol), it'd have been on without a doubt.
But we are in touch now through the site which is cool..
so now I'm looking for a smart line to add a bit of tension and keep the fun aspect up.
IDeas??? what would you write on her wall?
help help help its been 48 hours- need to act soon.

thanks everyone, and I'm glad to be back!!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

had I met this girl on myspace it would be one thing, and I agreee then it'd be pathetic. This is a woman I met in person, chilled with, we are in touch and no it wouldn't be pathetic to comment on her person, who cares about the pics. It's not even myspace, it's facebook. Go get some, it might help you blow some high school idiosterone.
There's nothing to analyze, attraction is either there or it's not, and in this case it is... just looking for C&F one liners. And for the record - a DJ isn't rude - neither are true alphas- Only pretenders..

For the record, I'm not worried about being the true "DJ". I'm tired of myspace/facebook threads where people are so worried about what they should put on a stupid comment. It's a comment for crying out loud. Theres been a HUGE number of threads just like yours. Say whatever you want man. If you say something stupid, oops. No big deal. Go get some? Please man. Don't even go there with me. Give me a week, and your MOM would be sucking my ****. Getting some is not my problem. It's guys like you putting all your stock into a myspace comment. C&F isn't scripted. It's free flowing. Bam. It's there. Besides, when using a C&F line "There's nothing ot analyze"

And if you wan't to pull the "DJ isn't rude" line, a "DJ" says as he wishes without fear of others opinions of himself. And "Alpha male" in the wild, such as a wolf, literally attacks the inferiors when they step out of line. Being rude is more or less like a nip on the heels. If you want to go home and cry then do so.

Leave me to my idiosterone and we'll see how things go.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Psychology is a beautiful thing~

Being a jerk is a negative emotion. Women avoid negative emotions like the plague. Being a jerk == the nasty nerd

Being "too nice" and being a jerk are both types of insecurity. They are afraid to just truly be themselves and just "be", so they try to compensate by acting aloof, trying hard to act cool or like they don't care, becoming dismissive or never asking a woman out to protect their fragile male egos from rejection.

This stuff repulses women as they know an insecure, needy man like a guy can spot a 500lbs fat chick with warts.
...done.

You proved nothing. That was a quote about being a jerk to women. If somebody begins to argue with me, or gets hostile with me, I do one of two things. Reason with them, or get in their face. If you can't reason with them, or if they are just in the wrong, then I will become hostile. If that makes me a jerk, then so be it. That's why my ex can't get over me. That's why I've got at least one girl who keeps begging me to date her. Thats why I've got another girl who tells me that "I could f*ck you and it wouldn't be awkward afterwards because you're that kind of guy". It's because I'm totally insecure. That's it. If you're going to pull quotes from other threads, might as well read them all.

Charming is more effective than being a jerk. If I had to be one for the rest of my life, it's a charmer. It's gotten me out of trouble both legal and female related, and I get where I want with charm, rather than my attitude (which shows up sometimes to spice things up).

Raikojo: Exactly. I applaud you for that comment. People think too much. Conversations should be instinctive.
