Myspace advice...

I just got a myspace account recently and thought it would be a good way to talk to girls around my area.

Anyway, on my profile, I have a picture, movies, books, tv shows, and for the "about me" my AIM name.

Should I bother writing a whole paragraph for the "about me"?

I started adding girls that I found attractive, but don't know what to say to them. Should I private message them or comment them? The only thing I could say is "hey, wsup..." because most of them have simple profiles with just a bunch of pictures and music.

Also, lets say once I get her AIM sn and msg her...what should I say? I suck at initiating convos, but once I develop a rapport I'm good at holding her interested. I don't want to ask the lame questions like "so what school do you go to?" and such.

Don't talk to girls through myspace unless you know them or their friends. You are much better off not talking to women on myspace or anything like it because:
1. It will freak them out and cause them to wonder who the heck this guy talking to them is, and
2. You cannot get necessary physical or emotional attachments through myspace necessary for a relationship unless the girl is desperate or slutty.
I speak from experience here I did this on xanga and just commented on something a girl said. She then freaked out and was completely convinced that I was stalking her.

its very possible, at at this age group. im 18, and when i was 17 and the age i am now i got many phone numbers off of myspace. my friend, at 17 and 18 got lots of f closes on myspace.

also...did you just browse and keep adding any hot girls you saw? I hear the more girls you have as friends the more likely it is girls will add you and such?

jlazz, just because it's in the mature man forum doesn't mean you can't walk away with some good information.

you can approach on myspace, and even have some success. but it's largely a waste of effort given the amount of success you can have out in the field.

myspace should just be a second aspect of your game, not your entire game.
thus, the concept of adding a large group of girls, then doing the bulletin thing to get THEM coming to you, is a great concept.
it saves you time by not msging AWs who'll never write back or give you the #.

then you can get on myspace when you want to do something, post a bulletin to solicit interest, and even if just 3 of them respond, you've got your pick of the litter.

don't waste your time reading profiles
don't waste your time msging them
don't waste your time commenting on their page
don't comment on their pictures

just rack up the friends count, then post bulletins. you'll save hours upon hours of unfruitful effort.

For the bulletins...what kind of bulletins are you talking about? Can you give me an example of one that is good?

you're going to catch somebody's interest and get a response.
then capitalize on it.

also, for getting a girl to go to specific events, post something like TooCold said he does in the myspace thread i posted(read it again)

Also a great idea.
I have this extremely hot guy friend. I don't think he's hot, but he has a freshman fan club, they have shirts with 'I hart Ben' on them.
He didn't decorate his myspace at all. Has no pic, no layout. It says he's overweight, and only uses it for friends.
And he gets any girl he wants.
If you say you're fat on myspace, in a good way, they'll wonder.
