"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Myers Briggs Personality Test

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

What I find weird is that although I was rated INTP, I was really different 5 years ago. Incredibly more extroverted than I am now. And I see it changing again, I'm going back to extroverted thanks to my working out/exercising routines. In fact, exercising always had a huge impact on my personality. Everytime I was active at any kind of physical activity I got a completely different personality/attitude.

So this thing is not absolute. :)

Of course not, personalities change.

I did however take a personality test once for a company that I interview for and it was interesting because it seemed able to pick up trends in behavior change. Either that or the guy I was talking to was giving me a load of bullshyt. Anyway...

I guess they feel that if you are at an extreme on the personality scale/ratings, that you need someone with opposite qualities to bring you more toward the middle. Where this might seem logical at first, I have found that this is really counter intuitive. Most people seem to want a partner who basically comes from their experience, someone who while not necessarily like them, at least similar enough to where conflicts are minimized. Usually, the opposite attarcts relationship seem to generally unhealthy and anoying, with a lot yelling and screaming. Or maybe that's just my experience.

No, that is not it at all, they don't mean that like totally different types, they mean that like complementary types. Like ying and yang.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Well, yes ideally, it should be like that. But oftentimes it does'nt work that way. If you are introverted, the exact opposite is to be extroverted. They can be complimentary sometimes, but it really depends on the individuals involved.

For people who are more toward the middle, finding complementary partners is easier because there is less ground to cover and there are also more total individuals also to work with.

But this is all just talk. The Myers/Briggs is just one step in discovering more about yourself.

If you want take a really interesting test, try this one.

Personally, I think many of the qualities exposed are the ones that make for true DJ's.

While obviously based on the Myers/Briggs model, this test is a little more sophisticated in its methadology.

Think about it, if you are somebody with one of the rarer personality types, I would think that most individuals would be turned off or confused by you?
I think there's definitely some merit to this, but I also think it's important to not allow oneself to become a victim of their own differences and start blaming external forces for their difficulty with women. My feeling is that the best way to handle being one of the minority personality types (and I'm one of them) is to study some of the differences and see how to bridge the gap.

Also, it helps tremendously to become very familiar with the description of your OWN type. The more you understand yourself, the more likely you'll understand how others perceive your behavior.

I do believe that certain personality types are more naturally "DJ-inclined" than others. The rest of us have to fail, practice, and learn how to develop those latent abilities.

For example--one INFP trait (which is my type) is the tendency to be exceptionally hard on themselves, and never take enough credit for a job well-done. This would CLEARLY be construed as a lack of confidence to an outside observer, but it's actually not the case--it's the perfectionist in us, wanting to improve even MORE. However, knowing that people will perceive things a certain way regardless of what the INTENT is, it's been valuable for me to NOT express verbally if I'm unsatisfied with something I've done--especially if I've gotten positive feedback.

Become familiar with your typeologies weaknesses, and work to minimize them. It's a simple but effective way to level the playing field a bit.

I've heard that about 10 % of the American population is INTJ.

I'm INTJ (and sometimes INTP), normally. But I took the MB test a few years ago while I was going through a divorce (and not in the best emotional state), and I came up as ISFJ.

So, I think it's possible that your PT may reflect major current events in your life. Taking the test a few times (over the course of a couple years) may give a more accurate PT than taking it just once.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I am a INTP... it is supposed to be a very rare type, making up of 1% of the population. However it is very common among internet users because of the nature of the internet where you can gain infinite among of knowledge while being "alone."

INTPs are highly inteligent and prone to be anti social.

tiger woods, newton, einstein, eisenhower are all INTP.

INFJ. I hear supposedly >1% of the population gets this result, but I don't know if I believe that.
